CSC needs a run and one that all vehicles can run with no issue, so I came up with Bulldog Canyon. Its close, variety of terrain, any vehicle can run it and part of the Great Western Trail.

I looking for input on those interested on going. Would you like as a night run or a day run? It’s not hard and should only take 2-3 hours to run. Night run could be fun and a little cooler. There are a few short side runs with some play areas to keep everyone interested.

It is a restricted area requiring a permit (free) that can be obtained by a single CSC member in advance. But you need to be listed on the permit including your name and vehicle license plate number.

Lets go wheeling who is interested? Once I get an idea of interest we can set a date.

I'm in if it works with my schedule.

D

Either one is fine, no prefrence here.

I might be interested in bringing the Jeep out on this one...especially since it IS right in my backyard.

You forgot to vote for NIGHT! :D

Where is this place? You said close. Close to N PHX, close to Casa Grande? Maybe me and Kyle (ripleykantoo) can caravan.

Oh yeah NIGHT

Starts in east Mesa, ends near the Blue Point Bridge on Bush Hwy. where the tubers float the salt, about an 8 mile run.

There are 3 entrances/exits:
1) Along Ellsworth about Usery Mtn.
2) Bush Highway, like Tools R Us said
3) Apache Junction, just off of Idaho Rd

Route 1 - 2 is mostly wash running.
Route 1 - 3 has a few minor obstacles, enough to keep the sedans out

Nightime is fun. The trail is fairly easy, darkness adds a little edge to it.

You know, i think I'm gonna drop out on this. My gas budget is mad. I realized it cost me $50 just to come up to the meeting last friday. Sorry guys, I'm a wimp, but I spend almost 1/4 of my monthly takehome on dinojuice :crybaby:

Close to town, not much fuel needed was one of the reasons this trail was picked, the other is that the main trail is very stocker friendly, with some optional play areas.

Dude you need a new job or at least closer one :D

Sometimes I think your right, but 45% of my pay comes off the top for 401k, medical, dental, long and short term disability, 4x salary life insurance, insurance on my family, stock purchase plan, taxes...you get the picture. Whats left pays the mortgage, buys the groceries and the gas.

Anyway, I got a bunch of pm's about why I should go on this run so maybe
