did i order the wrong calipers? they are very proud of the hub/lugs

my chev rims wont fit but i have no idea of the back spacing. i plan on using late model fj40 rims (white style not grey)

Is that a mini-truck brake conversion or stock FJ? Here is a pic of my 85 truck with LC rotors, "V6" calipers and 1.5" spacers. This is a typcial brake upgrade for a mini...

i used parts from a mini truck for my conversion. vented rotors and the mentioned calipers/ I see your running spacers. in the treads that i read , there was no mention of spacers being needed when converting the 40.

so do my wheels not fit because of them being Chevy rims? will stock steels/ stock spoked steelies fit????????????????????????????

so can anyone way in on this. from what iv read on my search of MUD , its not the back spacing , its the set back that is the issue with this set up.

mini truck hub swap
1992 calipers

will i have to run spacers with stock disk rims ? what if i run American racing Mojave rims with 3.5" bs and a 1/4" spacer? will that clear these rims?

The reason I used spacers on my mini was to match up the track width to the rear (wider later model rear which is 3" wider... hence the 1.5" spacers in front) But I believe my wheels would fit without the spacers.

Do some measuring is all I can think of and try to find a compatable wheel.

new parts showed up today after i woke up from night shift. Just like Christmas :bounce:

rolled her out of the garage for the first time since it went in almost 2 years ago. wish it was under power but not yet.

progress is slow because of work and the shear amount of body work involved.
