Here is what the dealer says needs work:

Alignment: $80
Tune Up: $315 Not sure what this means?
Induction: $99.99 Not sure what this is either?
EFI: $89.95 Injectors need cleaning?
Both front axles & bearings leaking: $1449.56
Rack and pinion leaking: $1088.81 Need explanation on this.
Timing belt and water pump: $894.00 New i would need this.

Total roughly $4000.00


So in what order and do i get this list done in. I would say timing belt first? This will be done at my mechanic not the dealer BTW.

I ordered my rack directly and shipped to mis casa. Saved a little, but not a lot.

I am suspicious about the leaking front axle. Ask for a breakdown on that. The LC axle is good, I would be hesitant to do that repair without a 2nd opinion. I had two separate mechanics tell me I needed CV boots and or a new axle, AFTER I had just put on new CV boots. So I think the diagnosis on that by a non LC person is up for debate.

Previous owner glued it to hell... lol. I had to melt the glue in hot water and clean the parts.

I purchased all the parts from @cDan. Dan: 1-800-432-6668

I would order EVERYTHING and replace it. The right CAM seal was leaking, but the left was fine. So i just replaced both.

Parts and service: under $1200. This is in Florida. May be more/less somewhere else.

Finally finished installing my speakers. I have the factory sub i want to swap also if anyone can suggest a speaker.

Back up camera:
I wanted something small and unobtrusive. Unfortunately I will be returning this as there is no where to mount without drilling into metal and im not doing that.
If someone has a better camera, Im up for ideas.

HU:
This unit simply cant be beat for the price. It has SO many features for the price point that it makes it a no brainer. Really happy with this purchase. You can upgrade the maps and software online when you purchase it. You get 90 days to do that.
GPS works great. Love Pandora Link, it will turn on Pandora on your phone for you. Also, you wont need screws or Kit for the dash. Its a perfect fit and the srews on the factory unit work fine.

Integration Harness:
Make sure to pick this up if you still have the factory amp. It mates the amp and HU cleanly. This also leaves the AMP RCA of the HU available for a second amd. I can also use the factory sub with this.

Mini antenna adapter:
This is for the mini antenna if you have one. I just used this because i dont like the power antenna. This will allow you to use the rear antenna and gets reception just fine for me.

I did not do a complete write up as there is already a very nice thread you can follow with great detail and enough info to complete this task.
Replaced the speakers in our '03 100. Write-up including sub replacement

I find your 100 Series very interesting! I like your decision on removing the wood trim. I also find it pretty interesting that your model had the (standard) GPS taken out and the Climate Control put on the center console (Instead of being digitized and integrated into the GPS system like most US Spec 2003 and above 100 and 105 series models.)

I had some VERY bad pulsating from the brakes. Replaced brakes/rotors on all four corners and its perfect now. The driver side rear caliper bolts were frozen so i had to take it and get a torch on them to loosen and grease. No issues now.

I also did a bearing repack since your already in there. Used synthetic grease as it rains a lot in florida and water crossings/mud are unavoidable.

For the brakes/rotors i went with Advance Wearever product. I know its not the best product but it stops the truck. The brakes feel smooth and the pulsating is completely gone. The rotors were beyond repair. Total for the pads/rotors was $350.

Thats it for this year. Fluids are i good shape. Next year i will tackle the manifold, inner tie rod, and will need the rack and pinion looked over. Getting shaking while doing 75-80 on HWY.

This morning I replace the rear sub:

I also removed the cloth cover and painted it. I will not provide a how to as there is already a great guide if you search.

The speaker does not make a noticeable difference to me but the original was cracked and sounded terrible. For $20 for a new speaker it was worth it.

The speaker did not fit properly so I drilled pilot holes and used 1" screws. Hand tighten not to strip. I used the foam surrounding the old speaker to stuff it between the openings.

I used the green/black speaker wire in the enclosure. Cut the other and left it in the box.

Well i ordered parts for some PM stuff. We'll see how this holds up. I dont have a huge budget to go OEM so this will have to do. I will be doing bearings also, but they didnt have the parts.
