Seems like September is a good time for Fordyce from my research...
I hope to head out that way for a September run in 27 with Canada Ben and some of the Cruise Moab usuals that you know.
Problem is my anniversary is in September.....

I think it should be good timing.
Had a good time wheeling with the crew on the Rubicon.
I hope I’m included on the Fordyce run.

Anniversary what’s that 🤣😂 just kidding

Seems if Ben makes the trip all the way ( you gays as well ) should just run the Rubicon and Fordyce back to back.

You're definitely always invited!
It would definitely be a For-Con B2B trip...

I think I'm ready, leaving first thing in the morning 💪

What a great run !
Rain and the fact that committee crossing exit was closed we cut the trip short by one day.

This trail holds up to it’s reputation as one of the hardest trails on the west coast.
Parts of the trail were unrecognizable compared to the trip Kenn, Wyatt and myself made three years ago.
The winch hills are much more difficult at time I thought that there was no way I could make it without winching breakage, or major body damage.
Working as a team and carful spotting we were able to make all winch hills without winching.
Winch hill three we took the middle line. The far right is not full bodied friendly and is almost guaranteed body damage and or breakage.
Winch hills 4&5 are now extreme.
Do not take this trail lightly !!

I’m calling it a win!!

Videos to follow😉

Looks and sounds like a great time, Rich. Cruiser is still crushing it! Where are you with your suspension plans?
It’s been Back burnered.
Now that the wheeling season is coming to an end I will be revisiting the project.

Remember that I broke that trail may 28 ( or there an ours) 2022. Ran it alone, first one through that year. Experienced snow and several downed trees. It’s tough. Glad you guys made it.

Totally different animal today 😉 and I thought you started the trail but didn’t get all the way through?

I always finish what I start Richard! The most treacherous part was the deep ass snow covering the paved road on the way to Truckee. I slid off into a gully on the left. Luckily my winch line was long enough to link up to a tree across the road. These are things I do but don’t talk about.

Well dammit, then get that build done 🤪🤣🤪

This time of year was great no bugs and very few people on the trail, we did get rain but it was not an issue
