needs TLC. Original green was resprayed white, poorly. It is rusty. Glass is in great shape. door seals are not in great shape.

I will admit I'm a bit embarrassed if I came across as price gouging/shady etc...

I'm new to the forum, and was making an attempt to price match the roof to similar items I've seen along the way.

@CaptClose can get you these parts from Colombia. He just ran an order for awesome fj45 and 40 parts. Handmade.

If he would like to discuss a reasonable price range, I'm definitely still interested.
 
I used to sell these for $800 a few years ago, unfortunately like everything else supply and demand command higher values. A complete top with glass is an easy $1500. Look what 40 tops sell for now..

Yep. remember Craig paid 2K several years ago at PMC swap meet and I hauled it for him. I thought he was crazy. But... it was in perfect condition.
 
you guys haven't said if it is US or CAN dollars. $1500 CAN wouldn't be bad
 
Stumbled across this thread just now.

FYI. I bought the top. He posted it on FB for a more reasonable price. He's local to me so I met him face to face and we agreed on a price. I would (and may) buy stuff from him again. definitely not sketchy in person.

Had no idea prices for good 45 tops have gone so high as indicated above. this one is pretty rough, but maybe can be saved.
