Brakes would sequel while reversing. Took it in for service for the 10k oil change and brake pads and shims being replaced, apparently it's a known issue. If it's a duplicate thread will delete it.

let us know how it goes
i had the squeals, did a quick on road re bedding no more squeals. Hopefully the new pads arent brake dust generators

That's how you know you have a genuine 250...treat it as a badge of honor

Front brake pad was replaced. Will check for squeaks tomorrow.

Thanks for the part numbers. It will be a while until I go through the original set so I’ve got time to see how else the formulation change affects the pad’s performance

Yup, mine squeak too.

Same issue here. Backing up, the brake squeal is obnoxious!

If it squeals, let off the brakes and re apply brakes, usually goes away, only happens when people are around

See TSB attached on this
That's an unusually complicated TSB for brake squeal. Grease at 10 different spots on the back of the pad - but only those spots . IMO it seems likely that a tech will not follow it exactly and, if it's really that sensitive to grease placement, it will squeal again.

Squeal is pretty common on aftermarket performance pads. Pads like EBCs some with rubber anti-squeal pads, and still require liberal greasing of all contact points to prevent further squeal. I've had to re-grease my EBCs once so far (after not being liberal enough the first time) using Syl-Glide synthetic grease. After that they were super quiet. When I put on new rotors I added even more grease, and they are again super-quiet.
