I am definitely not an engineer. i think he was referring to "ntsqd".

tinker I didn't mean to hyjack your thread i was just curious on your progress.

So what ever happened here?
Anyone ever get those Hawk pads & try them?
I'm doing the 4rnnr caliper deal & need pads. Since I plan to tow with this I'd like to put in the best known set of pads from the start.

Jumping off the bridge & ordering calipers, pads, & MC today: any other thoughts on pads besides the Hawk HPs Rover67 suggested?

This one is for NT & the others who might enjoy a little ironic humor (I was 1st infected with Nazi slot cars) "Americans don't care whether the brakes stop the car as long as they don't squeak. Germans don't care if the brakes squeak as long as they stop the car."

Were it me, I'd put the highest Coefficient of Friction pads up front, and something cheep, fairly hard, and long living in the rear. The reason for this is that a pad like what I suggest for the rear is very likely to have a low Cf. More than one way to achieve a reasonably balanced brake system. :)

So far I've found EBC with high-cF "yellow" 4rnr pads for $137.95 & regular cF "black" 60/62s for $41.95 @ Summit.

Hawk HPS 4rnrs are $65.95 & LTS 60/62s are $71.95 (?) @ Summit.
