There is a hose coming from the brake booster that hooks up to the aft side of my carb. (see attached photos)

First, the embarrassing newb question. What is the function of the hose.

Second, If I go to fuel injection (which I plan on doing) - where will this hose hook to on the MPFI system?

Thanks,
Chris

vacuum from the intake manifold/base of carb to power the brake booster

the plastic fitting at the end/into the booster is a check valve which maintains vacuum on the booster for a pump or three of the brakes should the engine die

port on intake manifold. exact location depends on what you are using

Thanks very much for the reply. I will research further my exact intake manifold.

I appreciate the help.
