Anyone know where I can find these little guys. I am guessing that Mr Bowfine does not have any to sell.
Looks like a weld on lock nut😘🍒. You can get them in free running also. Spotweld is ususal tingmethod. They also come in floating riveted pieces with 3/32 solid alum rivets . @J Mack is correct. Mcmaster Carr

I would like a rack as well. Are the cross members customizable on location? I need a large opening on the front half for my ragtop. Need to be able to stand up in my rig through the roof and wave at people as I go down the road.
The racks have a ~12” slot the bars can be moved back and forth in, you can also remove middle bars (but not ends). Have one of these on my 100 and love it, great racks & company. The t-bolts are easier to use than those nutcerts for adding gear (don’t have to remove bar to install - all the 10 series stuff fits) 😉

Anyone who has a 55 should have a Bowfin rack on it. A few reasons, it's a very well made roof rack, it's solid and versatile, and perhaps the most important it's likely to be the most substantial part on an old 55 and you need the rack to help hold the rest of the Cruiser together.

I am ready to order.

Even though we talked through PM, I should post here that the best place I know of to buy fasteners for the racks is tnutz.com

You would be looking for 1/4-20 stainless bolts and T nuts for "10 series" bars. I don't really get a discount on my fasteners from them so ordering direct will save everyone some $$

You can slide them back and forth some. If need be, you can take a bar (or two or three) out and still have plenty of strength.

I am putting lights on to shine out the back to blind those tailgaters. But being as I want to per chase dogfishlake’s roller I don’t know the clearances.
Dogfishlake? Rather then measure, which I do poorly, it would be great to just install it.
