So, I'm an idiot and I ordered new parts to rebuilt my starter motor only when I look at it closely it appears to be a remanufactured bosch, not denso. Anyone have any experience with rebuilding these? They aren't that expensive remanned and it's in need of a rebuild this month (before a trip). So, rebuild or replace? Not sure if I can return the parts I bought...So if anyone needs a starter rebuild kit...

I would replace it with a denso and see if you can turn the bosch in as core. Keep the starter rebuild kit as a back up when the denso fails.

The Bosch starter may use the same parts; is it a Toyota/Denso core rebuilt by Bosch? But as mentioned above, you would be better off in the long run either finding an original Toyota/Denso starter and run it as is, or use your new parts and rebuild it while it is out. Are the the parts a Toyota kit?
