What tire pressure are you running? I go to 20 and have a lot less problems. Seems like you were more toward 30/street pressure.

I was running at 16psi. There was really only one section where my right back wheel had a big ledge to overcome. And a lack of clearance for the front bumper. The rest of the hill was pretty easy. I just took it easy to get a feel for it (nervous rookie). I think it will go smoother the next time.

We should wheel together. I know these trucks inside and out and I need an excuse to get over to Uwharrie. From the pics you either had higher pressure or the stiffest sidewalls ever. That doesn't look like 16 psi. I have found ATRAC works better at low, but higher than VERY low pressure. Just a little wheel spin from having 20-24 lbs. makes ATRAC kick in better and puts less stress on the drive train by reducing traction to get more through ATRAC. Makes sense, but goes against logic in some way!

Shounds great! You welcome over to my side of the country anytime!

Yeah it actually is 16psi. You can se my rear wheel bulging when riding over a rock in the video. But I agree that it sure looks like a lot higher pressure overall. Its Hankook dynapro MT tires. So side walls are stiff but not super stiff. I guess I have to play around with the pressure and see what works best.

It seems that folks with similar vehicles as us air down to 12psi for trails. So maybe I should try that the next time. And see if that improves.

I though you where located on the west coast. Don't know why. But you being in GA makes it a lot easier meeting up in Uwharrie to ride.

Cool, I am everywhere, so I will watch both :)

Moved as in there will no further updates here, or copied and you'll be maintaining both?

There will be no or few updates here. I'll try to do daily updates in expedition portal and might do a general update every now and than on this forum.
