Eh before turbo numbers while great wouldn't be a deal breaker to me. I have seen enough trucks dyno'd NA and ALL of them were between 125-135awhp.

True but I would really like the data so that I can use a definitive number for gains versus approximate ranges. I'll be making a lot of call in the morning. :hmm:

It is much more satisfying to say "the gain is X HP and Y torque" rather than "it's about X HP and about Y torque".

Some sort of affirmation I imagine. :)

Hhmmmm.... after all the work you have put in, another month isn’t really gonna make that much difference on the buyers end... just sayin’... do whatever you think best and is best for YOU.

On the scale of at least another fifteen to twenty years I plan to drive my cruiser, soon to be turbo’ed, a month or two or three just doesn’t matter.

I’d far rather have the thoughtful and well engineered approach you are taking than a cobbled up mess like I would put together on my own.

Yeah if my calls tomorrow don't work out I need to just accept that this will need to wait until I have my next time slot. Fingers crossed.

I appreciate that. I just had a timeline I was pushing for so that everyone could enjoy it with optimal time of year for maximum enjoyment. :(

For my maximun enjoyment you are about 25 years late:flipoff2:

But, I'm not bitter:moon:

 We’ve all waited a long time. It’ll be fine to wait a little longer. Just think about that intercooler...

What he said!

I was the guy who had to get creative with the drain fitting. I bolted on a block off plate for my previous attempt. It hasn't leaked a drop but I'll TIG it properly if I ever have the pan off.

Wit's End fitting was installed next to my block off plate. Install was easy with all required bits included. It hasn't leaked a drop either. If only I had waited! Haha

@scottryana and other turbo gurus:

Elevation power loss for naturally aspirated motor is roughly 3% per 1000 ft.

Is it different (less loss per 1000 ft) for the 6-7 psi (?) of this kit?

In other words is there a point going up Vail Pass the turbo 80 will pass a 200?

Are you running 285s on the bone stock 80 and is the 200 lifted and loaded down with armor, extended tank, kids? :hmm:

Feel free to post my drain and patch (maybe with a graphic content warning) haha. I don't have the pics on my new phone though.

Right now they are actually on the same size tire and similar armor and add ons.

So here is what I would think is the “worst case” scenario when installing the return fitting. Basically going rogue on the install, directions be damned!!
