Dang P.O.'s... :flipoff2:

The mixer looks brand new so im not sure why the failure inside. It is a no name brand so I dont know where to get parts for it. Joel do you remember where it came from or better yet maybe the brand? I know it isn't impco like everything else.

Im gonna try and "southern engineer" it back together..... we will see what happens hopefully it will work till i can get the proper part.

anyhow here is some pics of what happened.

1.) the mixer
2.) This is how it should be...

1.) but instead it does this
2.) here you can see where it came apart somehow. It is just cheap cast alum. even still it shouldnt have come apart.

It is possible that I can order a random diaphragm and them just use the center piece as it unbolts from the flexible part. a link was given to me for http://www.helmarparts.com/product_p/av1-14-4.htm and if you look at the picture you can see the bolt holes in the metal, the reason i cant use this part of any part on their site is those are all 4 bolt tops mine is a 5 bolt.

go it off here from RPM offroad said it was Gotpropane stuff... man that sucks

your other link is were the tank brakets came from

Got it running! Don't know how long it will last but it worked for now.

Kling, you parted with the orange beast and sent it of to the vamps?
So where do i follow the newtoy? will she be an angry eyed beast also!?!?

Propanefart from Norway

new toy better not be an angy eyed beast!

thats what the other 40 is for.

Went and played some yesterday, Ill apologize now... My spotter / camera man was about as good at spotting as he was taking pictures... so when he tried to roll me down a hill he just stood there instead of taking pictures of tires way off the ground and the truck flexed out.
I now know why he didnt continue with graphic design school...

anyhow on to the pictures!

1.) I was told 100 yards down was a tough trail this is what i found... lame!
2.) same trail
3.) looks kinda cool i guess.

1.) just a rock
2.) waitin on a jeep to move
3.) just chuggin along

1.) I was hitting on the rear diff so i ask my spotter which was and he said "I dont know"... so this was a guessing game for a minute. :bang: he will lean eventually just gotta have a  and :meh: it off.
2.) shortly after this is where he tried to roll me... TWICE! I went down the hill so i could come back up and the other guy could get pictures. he had a lady friend with him with HUGE... well you know... anyhow the short shorts and very nice booty she also had prompted me to go cause she was posing in front of the truck as i came back up :grinpimp: (nice view, hopefully i will have those in the next day or so)
3.) still goin down

1.) bottom of the hill. if you look off to the right in the background you can kinda see what i was goin up. it was loose right there so that was the only "challenge" otherwise it was a cake walk. the 40's prolly help tho. I will say on the way down where he tried to roll me the ram assist didnt even wanna turn the wheels to give an idea of how bound it was. once i moved a little tho it was fine. i was able to cut the wheel and drive out of it but the stupid left front bead lock kept burping air on me! thought i was gonna have a flat! (i didnt have air) good thing i started with about 12-14 psi all around.

2.) This was a decent drop off, kinda cool i guess.

3.) Im telling you the view was better up close... my cell phone does no justice at all here! She climbed up there specifically so we could / would take pictures of her :grinpimp:

overall the truck did what it should have and i did a couple of climbs up some sandstone where i had to get on it and didnt have any issues. Ill likely take it out once or twice more before wheeltoberfest in marble falls next month just to make sure i dont find anything that needs to be addressed. I will be ordering a VFF30 lockoff rebuild kit and new filter to be safe as well as the replacement part for the mixer. I was told by someone of pirate that is it indeed an impco mixer and he said the stuff he got from "gotpropane.com" was also debadged for whatever reason. so ill try them for the replacement parts needed. that was i know my "southern engineered" fix is corrected the right way and wont leave me stranded.

Nice looks like you had fun

Badass. Going to skin the front fenders?

I plan on it once I do some supporting on the tubes first as joel pointed out. it wont take much, more me sitting down with some steel, my 220, and some metal and a grinder. It wont be pretty but it will be a "fender" gonna use the smashed up orange ones that were there before as they are already cut and im lazy. course i know they will probably hit which is part of the reason im gonna wait till after wheeltoberfest.

Nice looks like you had fun

yea for the couple of hours i was out there, the 60 SUA and 33's dual locked could do most everything out there so it pretty simple in this or my other one now. its more me getting acquainted with the truck.

makes me sad to see her on a trail I wasnt on .... makes me miss her more:frown: ... wish your buddy had rolled ya :flipoff2::meh::hillbilly::steer:

1.) finished a little before eveyone at work today so i decided to goof around a little before i put the other truck on the trailer to bring back home.

2.) ehh not bad, still had more in it. downside to this was pulling back down i didnt pay attention and the tire slipped off the rail and landed right on top of the license plate / brake lamp assembly as if it was aiming for it. :bang: guess thats what i get for being a retard. its all fixed now tho and the light on that side if actually brighter than it was gotta finish and do the other side now.

3.) lot of twist in that spring when it flexes out.
