man she looks mad :steer:

you called the "fang" thingys gay! i dunno im not 100% convinced on them yet but i think they look good with the angry eyes here.

Well they are but she looks mad ;)

In my best Homer Simpson voice... D'oh!

lol, but you got tha bigga block and bigger meats, yours will be sweet when you "finish" someday. hopefully i can get up north a ways in the next year or so and we will get a chance to wheel together, you, chicago, and boots i for sure want to wheel with as well as a couple of others.

Man you really need to get the angle grinder out and take to those rear guards!!!

its actually on the bump stops out back so even if i cut it up some more it wouldnt really free up much more up travel. i have enough droop to make up for any loss of up travel so im not worried. it doesnt cut up the tires any.

obligatory wheeling photos

1.) jeep I wheeled with, 33x10.50-15's 2ish inch lift from crown vic springs and something else and fenders all removed front end chopped as needed lunch boc locker front and welded 8.8 rear. guy has some time behind the wheel of this truck and it shows in the way he drives and knows exactly how it will react in different situations. a pleasure to wheel with even tho he cant do all the tough stuff.

2.) trinity river is a little deep here, may have to move the air cleaner up to a higher location, maybe a snorkel something or out through the hood, neither of which do i like but it got wet today crossing through this.

3.) I should have paid attention to the large hole down there cause i drove right into it.

1.) tough section i have only seen one truck make before... IT was a mini truggy with a quarter eliptical rear dual cases and i think 42's or something maybe 44's but it has been a year or two now (pictures are posted of it in my fiona ROTW thread) anyhow it took some getting intimate with patches and getting to know her better and some time to make it up.

All the tire marks are from me, the tree in the center top i used to pivot on to rotate the front end you can see the dirt moved to the left top area

2.) :steer:

3.) you can see here how tall it was and the undercut to some degree. If you look to the top right you can see i tried climbing the far left side and didnt have enough traction and had to work back to the right.

1.) busted the rock with the slider trying to force it up, but the trick was slow and easy over to the far right and a 40 point turn to turn enough to not fall back off the ledge.

2.) hehe

3.) if you look to the left you can see the tire marks under the ledge.

Damn mud!

I actually got suck in some goopy clay muddy mushy stuff... enough that i had to go into high range and rock it a little and fling mud EVERYWHERE damn those tires sling some mud! big glob landed in my lap too.

did i mention i dont like getting dirty? i have a set of gloves i wear for wheeling to keep my hands clean... :flipoff2: you guys i have my quirks! :meh:

1.) when i said i used a tree to pivot i wasnt kidding, but it was the best option and in comparison you can barely tell. i took a little more of the busted tail light off too.

2.) had another casualty... light housing is a little damaged and has a crack but ill bet it still works. It actually busted the weld for the bracket off so i will be able to re attach it pretty easy. I like the placement of the lights but its really easy to bust em off, may eventually move em to the stinger tube or the stinger support tube to keep from popping them off so easy. I dunno :meh:

bottom line i made it up on my own with little to no spotting on a section i have seen many attempt and only 1 other make even found a busted hub from something that broke on the easy part to the left of this section I of course picked it and the other pieces up and threw em in the truck. Always leave a place cleaner than you found it and be responsible.

forgot to mention i burned through the last of one of my tanks of pane right after that climb and with the time given on that tank i figure ill use about a tank a day of pane but hopefully less, id like to be closer to half a tank but with 4 tanks i should be covered for 3 day trips just fine, just means its gonna cost me a bit more to go wheeling.
