Bobbing Cab?

Here's the idea the top is what i am thinking about doing the bottom is what a stock cruiser body is...basically like taking an fj40 and making a really short 45 P/U style body. The image below is to grasp the general idea (I AM NOT A GRAPHICAL ARTIST )

maybe something like these ? if i remember right they are 45's cut to fit on the 40 frame i have also seen the 40 top cut down to fit also but cant find the pics right now but if i do i will post them up. i think i found them on here so try a search and maybe you will find them.

thanks, thats basically what i was looking for although it will be a custom bed (flatbed mostlikely) with removeable fenders (for wheeling )

The first pict is from Downey Off Road. It is a 45 that has the bed/frame shortened 18 inches. It is not on a 40 frame...

No this would be a custom bed (almost flatbedish but it would have full fenders for legality (damn utah)

Hey there,

I am currently doing that exact project right now! Complete rebuild from the box forward. When completed will feature external cage, safari basket, 9000lb winch, etc.. Please feel free to ask where the difficulties have been as I am most eager to share my experience. The body work is almost done, but I have come to standstill on it while I put in the new 3B motor.

sorry guys, i dont have any more pics of that rig that i remember. but as you can tell its a pic from mud. i save everything i find interesting. i may have something on another disc some where but i have alot of them and it will take time to find.

and felix, i have that pic too some where and a few others just dont know were.
