Good evening to all. I believe I read somewhere that the BJ44 came with a 2b mated to a 5 speed manual transmission in 1982. Can anyone verify that to be true? Trying to find out what I bought to be able to rebuild it. Engine block has 2b stamped on left side and is attached to a 5 speed manual transmission

If it is the same combo from your other thread that is a 60 series transmission.

Possibly an engine and box from a dyna truck? side intake on the engine is more from buses and truck

Did see a Dyna BU31L imported to Asia that had a 2B and five speed. The five speed certainly wasn't a H55F. While a floor shift it wasn't a direct setup. Looked like the RHD column shift converted to LHD floor shift. It also was set up as rear wheel drive with a hand brake on the back of the transmission. It did not have a transfer case for 4WD. The H55F has value. 2F guessing going to be hard to source parts for. The original transmission would have been a real white elephant trying to source parts for in the US.
