I have seen reports of damaged or defective covers being delivered. Has anyone received a good one and verified fit?

I received one last week. No damage. Will definitely take some fitting. I had to elongate 4 of the holes as I just couldn't get them to line up. Next steps would be to weld in the areas so the holes arent so big. My 11/1974 also doesnt have the cowl drain holes, so I need to weld some sheetmetal in those. Definitley not plug and play for my application.
I do not have my trans/transfer in so I cannot verify the shifter holes line up. When I stack it on my original trans cover it seems to line up pretty well.

I have 2. Both damaged in shipping. The second one was relatively minor and I'm going with it. Faced with trying to salvage a rusty original or massaging a new one, I opted for the latter. Be prepared to make it work.
