I had to fire one of my guys, too, this past weekend, J...I had tasked him with cinnamon-bun-making-duty...and he forgot to put the cinnamon in...

Imagine that? Cinnamon buns with no cinnamon?! Uncalled for, really...
First world problems right there

Ha, Ha! Yeah, I know...

But in his defense, it was his first time making cinnamon buns. I might consider hiring him back for chocolate chip cookies...if that job becomes available in the near future...

That sucks... my youngest daughter made me cinnamon rolls a few years back for Fathers Day... Somehow she grabbed the cardamon instead of cinnamon.... OMG THAT TASTE WILL HAUNT ME FOR YEARS... I just smiled and said, These are great Hailey... thank you.. she has gotten much better in the kitchen since then THANK GOD!

Ha! That's hilarious. I'll tell you what tho, you mix a little cardamon, nutmeg, allspice and a couple heaps of cinnamon, mix it (maybe, say, 1/8 to 1/4 of a teaspoon of that total spice mixture) in with a Roiboos tea that has been steeped in milk instead of water, and you've got yourself a delicious little tea there.

But the upside to that story is that now you've got that memory...!

I got a call from the freight company. Bumper will be here on Monday :bounce2::cool::bounce2::cool:. The bad news is I won't be able to install it for another 7-10 days :(.

No worries J, like I said before, for quality I will wait. These guys seem professional, gave me a call to find out when is convenient with me to drop off the bumper. They will call me again when they are an hour out from my house.

Well the weather wins today. Had plans on at least swapping out the tires, but it's raining hard. I'll just do homework instead :(.

After my failed attempts to do it myself, I'm just gonna mount the new tires with the PVC inserts. In theory that way I can air down to 0, not that I ever will. Once I find someone who can install the run flats I'll have those put in. Still freaking raining here, so this will be a few weeks out when I get back.

Nice. I'll stay tuned and look forward to seeing how you get it all worked out!

Nice. I bet you get yours on way before I get to mine.
Unfortunately for me, it'll probably take a few weeks :/
I can only work on it weekends and I've already got other cruiser work planned this weekend that might even take up next weekend too... then I've gotta cut and weld the quarter guards on, then cut and drill the cruiser for the bumper to attach, then send the bumper out to get powder coated... cuz I'm retarded like that! So much freaking work!

That sucks, I'm in a similar boat. Was going to feed off your build until I get to mine.

Well I'll be starting on Goss' new bumper tomorrow so you can tune in for that if you'd like... Got the other bumper finished and boxed up to ship tomorrow.?.?.?.....

Mike, I told Dave if the gutter mounts did'nt work on HAMP to give them to you and I'll send you a few more to replace those other ones you have .... HA!

I'll be around this weekend so like I told P, if you have any questions, let me know.. Ya'll have my digits...

J

Thanks to J, Christmas came early.

Had to muscle it to the back yard.

I got home late right, but in my excitement I managed to get most of the bolts off the old bumper. Sprayed the rest with penetrating oil for tomorrow.

I have to say the bumper is made for a tank. I can't wait until it's on there with the new tires. Looks like I'll have to remove the rear most crossmember for this to go on there, the only thing I would need is to relocate the air bag lines.

That crossmember he integrated into the bumper is waaaay stronger then the 62 deal
