Out of boredom I moved my smoker with the truck.

It needs sanding and painting. I'll get on it after the bumper install

Got it for free with house :)

What a day. Started a new job with the state and then these showed up.

Half ass tried to put the run flats in, but no luck.

Debating on whether or not to have runflats, what do u guys think? Now just waiting on the bumper to show and my rig is done for this year.

May I ask your form of employment??

Im always interested in what guys do "off the forum". I know we're all super into cruisers, but Im always interested in the spread of occupations we hold as a group.

I'm a part time intelligence officer (former infantry assaultman) and now a full time assistant recovery officer for the state of Texas. I'm getting too old and broken to keep doing field work :(.

I really, really like the idea of runflats for highway use on my truck. You definitely need some sort of insert though, rubber or PVC, or else your tires won't stay on your rims.

I will definitely re-use the pvc inserts if I can't figure out how to get the run flats in. Right now it's a scheduling issue, new job, school, family. ...

SWEET! new tires!

Well it has finally shipped... BUT... I FIRED the original transport company. I had a delivery from another carrier today and asked WTF.. He gave me his office number and said he would be in town for the rest of the day.... I said BULL****! here is 20 bucks hang out for 10 minutes. The driver said ok, my wife gave him a Coke, kept him in conversation and I arranged the delivery with the new carrier in less than 5 minutes. Printed all the paperwork and loaded it up...

YOUR BUMPER IS ON ITS WAY! Should be there Friday or Monday (pending transfer in Denver)... TO YOUR DOOR with lift gate service! and I covered the extra expense for all your trouble Mike.

Thank you for your patience once again,

Jason

WOW, Jason. Thanks for all your effort in making this happen and saving me the effort in coordinating how to pick it up. Sorry my order was a pain in the A$$. Next time I'll drive to meet you like we were supposed to.

No worries... I have to say that shipping these bumpers is the worst part of it.... however, I found a great local shipping resource...

I will be in TX in the next month or so.. I'll hollar when I know for sure.

J
Let me know, we'll do dinner and beers.

BUT... I FIRED the original transport company...

I had to fire one of my guys, too, this past weekend, J...I had tasked him with cinnamon-bun-making-duty...and he forgot to put the cinnamon in...

Imagine that? Cinnamon buns with no cinnamon?! Uncalled for, really...
