With these few trucks this trip will be fun. I will be at the beach. Have fun

Jonathan Biebesheimer is willing and able. He drove the Trooper last time we did Big Creek, he is a good safe driver. So you we can count him as a GO.
I think I met him on the trail one day when there was a stock crossover suv with 4 adults, a blown sidewall and NO tools blocking the trail. He came up behind us and was the only one to offer to help the guy besides me.

I plan to leave from Charlotte Friday evening after I get off work and camp out across from the Outpost at the UORTC. If John comes along, and brings the kayak, we may camp out Saturday night too and kayak on Sunday before heading back.
I'll also be heading out Friday after Seamus gets out of school (3:00-3:30 probably).
I hope to be out there setting up camp by 7:30 - though somehow that always slides to 8:30 or so.
We will be camping Saturday as well, but no Kayaks. If Rich (J*** guy) is with me, I'll see if he feels like running any trails SUnday. If he's not, Seamus and I WILL be taking a few runs in the UNF.

The cost is $35 per truck. When we get closer to the trip we'll finalize how payments will be made. The minimum number of trucks is 10 and a maximum of 30.

Just ran through the 1st post to see where the numbers were shaking out. Looks like 6-7 trucks, which could make for a great trip, but I got a bit concerned when I reread the bit high lighted above.
@Izzyandsue is this a recommended minimum, or will they not run with less than 10?

Nope, you can go with 2 and split the cost. 10 is because they do the "Coach and Drive" events for $35, and need 10 veehicles to make the $350 minimum fee. In May we had 7, then a surge at the last minute got us to 14. I like 6, we should get lots of driving time. But the week is young....

Cool beans Thanks.
BTW I took the forms that we'll all need to fill ouout from the May event thread and attached them.
here they are:

Rich, AKA J*** Guy is bailing out.

Will Dominos deliver at the campsite tomorrow? Joking aside, how do we handle payment? Can bring cash or check, or PayPal?

Thanks for the money, I will run with it! I just noticed your 2001 is a Highlander Edition, does that mean there can be only one?

Whenever I encounter another on the road, we fight to the death and I absorb their strength, That's how I got the Rear bumper, lift, quick disconnect end-links, etc.
Each time you see it with a new mod, you will know we have experienced another quickening.

Looking forward to meeting you all in the morning. Anyone else brings kids? My 6 year old son will be riding along.

Same here Kevin. My kids are older, trying to get me into a retirement home so they can get my toys.

Whereabouts New Yolk are you from? Upstate region or Lawn Guy Land region? My wife's from sunny warm Buffalo. Lived in Rahchester for a long while, and Ithaca for school.

Change of plans, I'm going solo. Wife and child are going to the neighborhood "build your own cardboard boat" race. I'm from the Albany area
