Bestop paddle replacement- late model (1 Viewer)

A buddy of mine here in Japan bought a set of Bestop doors without any handles. He asked me to help him figure out what might fit and how to get it all set up. I'm gonna call Bestop they have to say but I was wondering if anybody else had any thoughts or experience in terms of alternative replacements.

Wow. Those latches ain't cheap.

Here are some generic paddle latches. You'd have to find or fabricate the door striker plate. Just make sure to measure the cut out dimensions first.

Thanks guys. So paddle locks are standard size? I'll get this guy to measure the hole and we'll go from there. I suppose he's gonna need something to get open from the inside.
