Cancel your order and buy the aluminum three row from eBay For $100 Less. It is the the same radiator that you are purchasing from cruisercorp. Same box, same directions, same unit. Another member and I just went through this last month.

I bought mine through eBay and received it in the days with zero issues.

You know, I had a suspicion.

Do you still have the link handy?

money may be tight and I understand that.....the long term solution is the old-school 4 core/row brass type radiator. See what type of life span you get from the aluminum types...

Is the OEM version a 4 core?

I use Griffin radiators in the swaps that I do. Main reason is easy, I do not want a swap job coming back because of a radiator issue. I've never had an issue with a Griffin radiator. It is well worth the extra cost in my view.

They make one that direct fits the 62 with trans cooler. I am sure that you can have them make it without trans cooler if you like. The radiator in the photo is set up for an LS series motor, they make them in stock configuration as well

Is it really $627.29????????

It turns out that good stuff costs real money. Who coulda predicted that?

And the $179 AL radiator doesn't fit and has a leaky neck.

I feel like there is some kind of connection here between price and something else... ;)

I can't agree that the $179 radiator doesn't fit. I just installed one with zero issue. Fit, finish, bolt holes, filler neck, etc.

By popular demand I will give updates while the naysayers wait for it to blow up. ;)

Give it a try. You can always return it.

Griffin and Ron Davis are the best and most expensive radiators out there. Bar none. BTW, I just put in a 3 row Champion rad in my 62/Vortec swap. I can buy 3 for the price of the Griffin.

Well I used a CSF 2708, and I have no complaints. I even picked up a spare CSF....

I ran a $600 AA radiator POS......it lasted less than two years....
Im running the cheap $170 for three years now with zero issues....
Expensive does not always mean better .....

With that said, I would not mind trying the Griffin brand .....
Specially after after hearing good reviews from some of the members in here...

I got about 1.5 years out of a RD radiator I had on my 60... ouch $$

Wow! Wouldn't they replace it under warranty? RD has such a good reputation...

I bought one of the aluminum jobs from Cruiser Corps and have been very happy with it. Given the price and quality of workmanship I will probably continue to buy them when my other 60's need radiators.

I don't recall what the warranty is/was....you pretty much own it after a brief period. cracked core
