Just an FYI they DO NOT come with gaskets. They are discontinued even in the Euro market!

which is so bizarre. Why wouldn't they have those on hand...can imagine the cost to produce the gaskets was anything significant.

The OE gaskets tend to break easily during removal. I figure the OE gaskets, due to their condition, were replaced at a higher frequency than the mirrors. Leaving a surplus of mirrors in comparison to gaskets.
I have several pair of the mirrors and only 2 nice pair of gaskets.
I think SOR still offers an aftermarket sponge type gasket for $$$....

The SOR aftermarket gasket is nothing fancy really. You can buy a rubber sheet and cut your own.
I have had good dealing with them in the past. It can take a long time though if you buy used....

How long does it normally take to have used items shipped over from them?
They ship them when they get them... which depends on when the get a wrecked one. I usually E-mail and they let me know if they are in-stock or not. If not then you get the wait.
