Best sliders for an 80 - opinions wanted

Mickey rubicon, you are definitly intitled to your own opinion, but don't try to insult everyone in here by saying that people that have sliders must have a lack of off-roading knowledge/skill.....That's when everyone takes it personal......

I believe sliders are intended to replace running boards?

What is a slider? What is its function? Why does Toyota furnish FZJ80/LX450 with running boards rather than sliders?

1. Protecte expensive, weak sheet metal
2. Ease getting in

Sliders are better at #1, running boards are generally better at #2 (their only intended function).

Toyota supplies boards because they are lighter, cheaper and serve the average user better.
 
I did a comparison. Hanna has larger dia tubes than Slee. Both are nice design and Slee has a step version for the pink panities I think.
