85 FJ60, 2F Fully De-smoged, DIY Recurve on the Distributor, Advanced Timing +/- 1/4" passed the window on the Flywheel. What would be the best guess on degree's of advance where it sits now?
Ran strong with the Stock Carburetor, Swapped in a Holley Sniper in September and I need to get into some finer tuning, but I'd like to have a solid base to start with my timing.

Get an Advance timing light. It will tell you exactly how many degrees off you are from TDC. Time it off the TDC line, not the 7° divot.

@BGarcia88FJ62 — did you try the advance timing light? Any tips? Trying to get my timing dialed in on ‘85 FJ60 w/ 2f and was (perhaps like you) trying to guess at the degrees advanced. Cheers!

I have the same distributor setup, I’d guess 10 to 12 degrees

I did try the advance timing light and came up with 10 degrees of advance. But if would be safe to say 10-12 is the range it's in now.
