do some research on fiberglass fender flares

Do some research on these fender flares then let me you know if you have the ability to pull off something similar.

This is a hobby and yes everyone has their vision of the perfect version of their car or truck and that is exactly what keeps most of us coming back to sites like Mud to check in on everyone’s progress. These fender flares are not my style but I can appreciate the craftsmanship that it takes to come up with the idea and actually pull it off in the way they have here, we are fortunate to have people like @RtechFab come down here and share with us.

We have plenty of guys taking glamor shots of Toyota bags full of nuts and bolts for hundreds of pages all over this site in every section and if looking at nut bags is more your thing then head up to those sections and give them a like! We need to stop crap talking everything that doesn’t fit our vision of the perfect vehicle and just sit back and enjoy the hobby.

Is it stock? no, was there a s*** load of time and money spent to make this pig his own, yes. Do we all have the same vision for our pigs, no. probably a few who think I could have spent my money more wisely on pig stuff, but its not your money- I dont need anymore people in this world telling me how to live or spend my money. I may not like some choices made of others, but if they are as excited about their pig, as I am of mine, I respect their choices and are happy for them. More bloody Marys!

This.

And the metalwork on that truck isn’t limited to the flares. Check the fit between the doors and the body.

I, for one, admire the concept, execution and incurred expense. 😀

Glad my build thread hasn't started off like this one ... LOL
Could not agree more with J Mack and Rush, this is a hobby and people will do what they want with their vehicles no matter what they may be.
Taste is subjective, and we all my not agree with the style, fit, form or function of some builds but sometimes you just need to appreciate the craftsmanship.

That said, if you ever want to build a custom vehicle and sell it for good $$ is has to be done properly with the RIGHT overall look, and cater to the masses.

Cheers
Steve

Some more before pictures as well as metal work prior to the bodywork.

Agree with the sentiment that "to each his own" on likes and preferences. We just do our best with what has been asked and try to continually perfect our art as craftsmen.

Thank you for having us come here and share something a bit different. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder however I don't think we want to see too many pictures of A"nutbags"

There is absolutely no doubt in the expierience of you your Craftspeeps 😉. Metal fab almost became a dying art until ,Young people like your team and lots of other teams have become interested in the Art. It pleases me more than you know to see this happening, means there is still a future🤔. If you need a lower tailgate Valance. I have 1 in the shed 😘. Still not Fond of the Dolly Partons 🤣.

Thank you for coming and showing us what’s happening. Please tell Glenn that he’s welcome here as well, and at the Pig Party and SSS.

We have mad respect for his choice of vehicle, and the shop he selected to make his vision a reality. It takes a certain passion to drive something 99% of the USA can’t identify. The man can own / drive anything, so his choice is a pig!

I still remember when I got my 40 on the road and was going to drive it the 5 blocks to the emissions station (itself 3 blocks from where I grew up). At the very first light someone pulled up alongside, gave me the 👍 and said, “Nice J**p!!” 😂

Thanks for posting those pics showing the incredible fabrication skills. I had no idea how the flares were made but now I know, very impressive!

A few things:
1. Holy fab work! I know absolutely nothing about working with metal and seeing this just makes me proud of the time and effort that went into the project. Respect!
2. Your $, your vision. Period. Lighten up! Can't wait to see what the reactions are when I take my piggy full electric (in 20 years).
3. Following this build closely...too cool!
