What exactly is included with the complete minus engine bump? Does that include the temp gauge and switch or would there be an add on for that on my own (or perhaps a separate kit you can develop later with the dual sensors and gauge)?

Ordered my ecl from yodateq in anticipation of this product so can hook up to the switch next to the shutoff. Will be awesome. If it's blank or has the template for the gauge ok don't care, I'm in for one

Folks this product/project will be on hold until the LockBox and FEM LockingLid GroupBuy has been finalized and delivered. I'm not taking anyone else's money until I can get that GB done and taken care of. It will mean at least another few weeks due to needing to go to NC next week. This is still happening, just delayed. FYI only.

Anyway to have the switch inside so I don't have to raise the hood everytime I am close to the hood (New Orleans is like that).
Also when you switch on does the alarm go off? Every time I disconnect my battery for something, when I hook it up the horn goes off.
YES, I need an alarm down here.

Not sure I understand. Which switch are you trying to move inside? The disconnect doesn't shut off everything, you still have 15A as part of the bypass.

Sorry to hear about the delay but very happy at the same time, maybe my finances can finally catch up with your projects! Between Mr. T, Frank, Phil and your products, I'm going to the poor house! :flush:

Ok guys this project is finally moving forward again. I've been busy re-wiring the version I have to make it cleaner and to make it easier for myself to assemble. I'm still trying to make this as plug-n-play as possible. I appreciate everyone's interest and patience. I just had to be sure the LockBox and FEM issues were taken care of. I think I'm in a good spot now. I'm about to announce some other stuff I've been working on but this project is unaffected by it. Once I am totally happy with the wiring I will go ahead and start up a GroupBuy. This project I think is going to be a one time thing. I have such a small number of units that I will be making that my individual cost per unit is too high to do more than one batch. I just don't see more than maybe ten but who knows, maybe I'll be surprised.

Couple of quick notes:
* I am going to make this out of stainless steel instead of cold rolled because I am opting for laser etched vs silk screening the unit. Don't want to risk rust with the laser etching
* I can make hole additions/subtractions per unit if you guys want to add or remove features
* I will still make some blanks available to those interested, since I still get asked

I'm still in for a DS blank. Any chance you can provide a wiring diagram or more pics of a completed unit? I love the battery disconnect but I'm on the fence due to the price. I would love to add it later but I'm still working up the dinero for your LX console. :hillbilly:

I'd be in for a drivers side completely blank and no holes...as simple as it gets. Can you ball park a price on that?

@ nlxtacy I am still interested. However not having a rig that actually drives makes the purchase hard to justify for the wife. Unsure when it will be ready. Any idea when the FEM lids will ship?

I would like a blank one as well. While the actual battery disconnect switch is the best in the business, it does not provide any comfort to my wallet. I'll have to source (buy, not steal) one on my own, somewhere else.

I have a few blanks, well blanks with gauge/switch holes. I can have them powder coated when I do my next run or just send as is. The LX console proto was supposed to be done yesterday but the brake operator called in sick. Hopefully tomorrow but it's going to be a busy week. I may not be able to get to it.

It's ok, I'm not sure when I will be happy enough to release this project. I pre-purchased a whole gang of wire and 35 Flaming River disconnects that I got an ok price on but it was for the lot. Yes, I have 35 of the switches plus I think about a ton of copper wire (1/0 is freaking heavy). So I need to see this project done because eventually I'll stop spending money and start making it :P

The FEM lids are done except for the re-redesigned locking cams. I was supposed to have them in hand yesterday but the CNC brake operator called in sick. I want to say tomorrow but it's going to be a slammed week.

Same note, I have blanks if interested. I'm also going to be selling the Switch by itself for a decent price but I'm holding off til after the new year.
