Anyone that grew up around here or has watched ACC basketball long enough knows that Dook and Kazoooooooski have curious things happen with shot clocks, whistles, calls, fouls, etc. that end being to their benefit, especially in CIS. I don't even know how that program is taken seriously sometimes...

There are always going to be bad calls in sports given the human decision making element. It just hurts when it impacts you so greatly. It hurts even more when it's place where it seems to happen with more frequency than others.

Like I said, tough loss. We've all been there before.e

ive heard that OP is filing a complaint to the ACC after watching a replay of what happened last night...
 
public punishment in order

Officials really do blow chunks. Not just in basketball. What is beyond
me to understand is how they can make such bad calls WITH REPLAY in effect.
Good grief. Go look at the tape. How hard is THAT! When they blow a call
they get punished IN PRIVATE. WTF? Keeping THAT in private only
increases the fans frustration. That 3 pointer by CU clearly took more than .6
of a second. Even blind as a bat me can see that clearly the clock only
started when the ball went into the net.
CU will get revenge at Littlejohn. Count on it. I expect a whistle to get swallowed
at a critical time for CU...make up call. :grinpimp:

Clock management problems at CIS are not new and well documented over the years. Funny thing is, the "problems" always benefit Dook.

My thoughts exactly... hopefully our boys will play amazing and beat duke . I was very pleased with the way OP handled... hopefully our players take it with as much grace as our coach and realize that there is still alot of bball to play. Who knows, that could be the catalysts needed to really push our team to the next level (hopeful CU fan's wish haha)
 
Yeah I don't know what there damn problem was....Misty ended up watchin the last 6 min of it....I listened while I finished puttin in our new badass oven. I couldn't even watch as they just let it go...rediculous
 
I just got back from Florida and heard they lost after blowing a huge lead. That sucks, dont really have anything to say since I didn't see it.
 
Holy crap. This might be the ONLY positive pub for Wake hoops this season.

Though it is really just another gleaming example of why we are sooooooooo bad. When Viss is the number 1 ranked center in the country (and best player on our team), we are living in a world of hurt...

No capable player at the point in the ACC = terrible season.

In OP's defense I think that foul should have been intentional. You dont put both hands over a guy and knock him to the floor out of midair like that. They definietly couldnt get anything going though.
 
Just a bump for 30 minutes to tip off in one of the greatest rivalries in sports.

Let's see how Roy and his uber youth do against CIS, Kazoooooski and the boys in stripes.

Had a chance to go but couldn't muster the energy to go sweat for a few hours in supreme nerd-dom.

Remember to have your favorite CD collection ready to roll since mute will be mandatory. There is a study some place that shows your brain turning to mush every minute you listen to Vitale's drivel... :D

Just got hom from my intramural bball game. Dropped 7 on them in a W. Good to see the Tigers get things rolling in the right direction again. This 4 game stretch we are in is really important to our NCAA bid. Need 3 W's if not all 4. Glad to see UNC is taking it right now as well. I get so tired of hearing all their fans on sportstalk radio for the past two weeks saying how they would win by 25 or 30 and how amazing they are. Even that L the other night didnt shut them up.
