Hey that guy also scammed me out of 6 doors. Long story but basically he picked up the doors at and then 2 months later he canceled the PayPal payment so he got the doors.

Your name is WAY too similar to another member here who would also likely have 6 doors. Or 600. But on the other end of the country. Just thought it was weird coincidence.

Yes I had posted a thread in facebook about Paul and someone said that he scammed someone else and posted a thread to Ih8mud. I had to create a username thats why my profile is brand new. I had 11 40s but now i am down to 3. - 79 FJ 40, 71 Fj40 & 65 45 SWB with removable top. Heres some pics

A quick Google image search pulls up a thread from 2021 from MUD. The person you paid likely never had these doors. Or (here is a real long shot) maybe @FJ40 MATT sold them to him?
To the original poster…how did you pay the guy? If you paid PayPal Friends/Family, etc. you have zero recourse. You Kight be able to report him through PayPal as scamming, but they won’t give you your money back, unfortunately. If you sent a wire there is a very slim chance of it being recovered…but that would mean you have his bank info and you could report him to his bank.

Mike, No sir I am not a thief. Nor did I ever plan to screw you over or not fulfill my side of the agreement i will call you here shortly And make things right. I should have done a better job keeping you in the loop and for that I apologize. Do to personal family issues I haven’t been on mud or online other than a picture I posted of my family. Regardless you have been more than fare to me and it’s nobody’s fault but mine. Will reach out soon.
As for you, Sansa Hall eBay parts seller from Maine who is more than likely on your 4th or 5th mud account. I drove 6 hours and bought 6 rusty door shells and paid you 150 dollars your asking price that night and that was 4 months ago without issues then you call me two weeks ago asking me why I recall payment and that’s when I told you that I didn’t and I had no idea what you were talking about. We spoke on the phone like adults I called PayPal and told you if they don’t short it out I will pay you again. What you didn’t say was that before any of that could happen you threaten to harass me my family until I did what you asked then you laughed about it as it was funny then you started contacting my family and coworkers and that’s where you lost me. I was more than happy to help you fix it until you did that. So please do me a favor do not add yourself to list that only contains Mike and nobody else who should have been treated better and will be made whole. Please do not contact me or my family again stop with the fake profiles and google numbers.. if you don’t get reimbursed by PayPal and then only email me and I will make sure your paid for what I picked up.
I would like to apologize to Mike and the mud community for allowing this to escalate to this or having Mike not being able to get a hold of me and making him feel as if he got scammed. I was in the wrong and will honor the deal with Mike or offer reimbursement whatever he chooses. I will also make sure going forward this doesn’t happen again and people are able to contact me regardless of my situation. I have done business with about 15 of you guys and I’m not a scammer or a thief. There isn’t anyone else or any list of other people to say so but I understand 1 person is enough. My bad guys.
Actually its 2 people Paul. Mike, he won't pay you, he will just keep trying to buy time. What he does is he gets the goods and then he cancels the payment via his credit card company. Its a chargeback and then paypal removes the money from your account. I have been after him for 3 weeks for the doors that I sold him back in February and then he canceled the payment. He's not honest and he is a thief.
This must be Paul's failing business. East Coast 4x4LLC. Seems he also never responds to customers and received a 1 star review.

Paul keeps telling everyone "hes going to sort them out". How hard is it to send someone money today with all of the payment apps. He just says that BS to act like hes a stand up person but in reality hes a d-bag. Mike - he will never sort you out, he just flaps his gums
I had the same bad experience with Paul. I sold him 6 doors and he drove to Maine and paid me with paypal. He just canceled the payment with his credit card company 3 weeks ago and therefore PayPal deducted the money from my account and an additional 15$ for a dispute fee. I reached out to him and he said that he would sort it out and he made up some story about how his credit card was compromised. He kept saying he would "sort it out". I almost never accept paypal for parts but I did talk to him on the phone a couple times and he was in the facebook cruiser group so figured it was fine. Would never do that again, I guess I learned the hard way.
Looks like he is scamming people again.
Paypuke is not your friend when things go south. Someone is getting screwed and it will not be paypuke. I quit them many years ago when they screw me the buyer and the seller. This how Eloon got rich.
I know I really will never use Paypal again after this experience.
Yes i posted about my experience with Paul M Tillman of New Jersey on facebook about 2 weeks ago and just the other day someone sent me a message about a similar situation someone was having with him. Im sure he has done it to more people, but I guarantee he wont ever do it again!
