I have bought way too many parts from sellers on this site and never had a problem—always used PayPal. I guess if you’re buying from someone who doesn’t have much of a presence on the site, more caution is warranted.

Been using PayPal for over 20 years. Easily over a thousand transactions and never a single issue with them. Not one. I also don’t pay strangers as “Friends & Family” though.
I know, I also never had an issue with Paypal before because most people are trustworthy. I should have demanded cash but this is a hobby for me and I had spoken to paul a few times on the phone and he seemed like a good guy so I let my guard down.
Paul still hasn't made it right with myself or the genteman from out west. No clue how Paul found out about the thread. I had posted in a facebook group about my experience 2-3 weeks ago. Someone replied to my message on the facebook group about a similar situation with another person and then I joined Mud to share my experience.

I purchased $1,475.00 worth of parts from him the first of April. No parts. Asked multiple times for a refund. I have heard every excuse you can think of. Already shipped it. No tracking number. I forgot it’s still in my truck. I haven’t boxed them up yet. Will mail tomorrow. Reply today was, You can take legal action if you want against me. It won’t help you get your parts or money.
He also scammed Galen @bottombracket out of money as well.

I don’t expect you to do anything. Just making you aware per Nolen’s request. Met him on this form PTills. Purchased less expensive part. Slow to ship however it showed up when he tried to sell me more items. One he received the $1,475.00 the lies started. Just want to warn everyone else to protect our community.
