G'Day guys,

Long time member having owned 3 80 series, but always lusted for a 200 and finally picked one up yesterday!

Previously< I had a pretty tuff 80, Tripple Locked, 4" Superior Engineering suspension, 1HDFT, G Turbo etc. It was a weapon off road, hardcore stuff but the issue was I would take it off road maybe 4 times a year...so it was a waste.. Doing school drop offs etc became cumbersome being manual etc. Sold it about 2 weeks ago and went on the hunt for a 2012-2015 200, but I wanted the Sahara for the creature comforts.

My first choice was Gunmetal then Silver. I loved black but just worried about the up keep...long story short I ended up with a black one lol! Low kms (104k kms) one owner soccer mum car. Never towed never been offroad.

Only downside (For me) was it came with a Bodykit..and not just any....a WALD Bison kit. Being a JDM guy, i use to love this kit, but its just not suited for what I want and I cant wait to get rid of it!

Flew to a rural town called Coffs Harbour here in NSW, 1 hour flight, and then drove the 6.5 Hours home...and wow....a Limosuine compared to the 80! Plenty of power, and comfort although the steering feels a bit lifless but expected.

Specs:

2014 Landcruiser Sahara
VDJ200r with the V8 Twin Turbo Diesel of course!

First fill up:
117974218-940890126400846-2626370367651762067-n.jpg

Endup only using just over a quater tank and 600km! The dash siaplyed 9.9L/100 albeit this was mainly freeway (about 90%)

Interior needs a real good clean, but I love what the PO did with the old man woodgrain. He got it all Hydro dripped in Carbon!

Easiest removal of that body kit is just to take it offroad once :)

Should've just hit some tracks in Coffs to take care of the body kit..

Yeah i think with the right wheels, lowered suspension the WALD kit looks sick, but not practical for me lol!
Fited some 3D Kagu Mats, overall fitment is great and catches everything, my only grip is they are not grippy...if your feet are wet, its very slippery.
OEM worn out

Just got back from driving to Mt Kosciozko here in NSW where the snow hit. Snow is not something we see alot, I think i have seen it 3 times in my life.

Wow this thing is a lounge compared to my old 80 series! I managed to do 10.7L/100 thats with the wife 2 kids and luggage! Im sure that bodykit is creating drag too lol.

Filled the tank (138L combined) and round trip was 960km, and I still have quater of a tank left! Amazing.

Also you will notice i added some "Ocam" Window visors

New wheels have been ordered, but Im still trying to find tyres.

So, sold the WALD Kit, the guy came to have a look and wanted it right there and then lol. So now im driving around with no bar work waiting for the originals to be couriered by the original owener

Also got the Windows tinted today, and my iDrive also arrived. Quick install and wow what a difference! Have to play with the settings a little to get it just right, but it basically got rid of any throttle lad!

Nice, We all lust after the stuff we can not get here

Looks great!! ...and I am envious of 22 MPG
Thank you! Yes for a 3T beast she goes alright on fuel!
Awesome work mate. Fellow Aussie here currently looking to do the exact same thing, buy a 2015 Sahara <100k. Looking forward to the updates!
Thanks mate! That was exactly my goal but finding anything under 100k was WAYYY over my budget of 60K, even tho witht his I went a little over budget.
What a good looking beast, fantastic.
Thank you!

So I went ahead and bought the Toyota OEM Spacer Part No 43136-60020 (No idea why they sell this actually) to level out the ride. Got a mate of mine who owns a GoodYear tyre shop to fit it and wheel align the car.

Does not seem like much lol

Now the issue is It seems like I have the infamous KDSS lean...driver side is a lot lower than the passenger.

Here is a BEFORE driver side Shot

So I did the KDSS adjustment as found on an Aussie YouTube video, and couldnt believe it worked!

Before:
LF 920mm RF 885mm
LR 980mm RR 945mm

After:
LF 910mm RF 915mm
LR 965mm RR 970mm

Those wheels look awesome - I don't reckon I've seen them on a 200 before. And on a side note, "IS THAT A FREAKIN SUPRA???!

Thanks mate! I pretty much copied @timjax setup. Saw these wheels on his Black late model! I havent seen these Methods on another car in OZ tho.

The spacers aren't very thick, but any changes you make have a ~2x impact to the final suspension geomerty. So a 10mm spacer gives you 20mm of lift.

When I got them yesterday, I thought these are so thin, I dont think its worth doing, then I did a search on here and read the same thing! Trigonometry or some s*** (I didnt do well at Maths in school lol)

Added some OEM Roof Racks (Aussie models didnt get this). Inspried by @mcgaskins build, to install Maxtraxx etc on top.

Also first time, hit the beach, the 200 floats over the sand!

Done the service on her yesterday @110000kms. First time doing a service with those cartridge type filters. Pretty simple, just removing the bash plates is what took a bit of time.

Also, the brakes were pretty s***, it stopped just had that "wavy" feel in the pedal. From research, everyone seems to go the DBA T3 with the DBA XP Pads
