I thought I saw Manta do one but I might be getting mixed up

Yeah i think with the right wheels, lowered suspension the WALD kit looks sick, but not practical for me lol!
Fited some 3D Kagu Mats, overall fitment is great and catches everything, my only grip is they are not grippy...if your feet are wet, its very slippery.
OEM worn out

Just got back from driving to Mt Kosciozko here in NSW where the snow hit. Snow is not something we see alot, I think i have seen it 3 times in my life.
2020-Snow-Trip-9.jpg

Wow this thing is a lounge compared to my old 80 series! I managed to do 10.7L/100 thats with the wife 2 kids and luggage! Im sure that bodykit is creating drag too lol.
2020-Snow-Trip-4.jpg

Filled the tank (138L combined) and round trip was 960km, and I still have quater of a tank left! Amazing.
2020-Snow-Trip-3.jpg

Also you will notice i added some "Ocam" Window visors

New wheels have been ordered, but Im still trying to find tyres.
The Kagu floor mats look great. Questions... do the front mats attach to the existing factory Toyota twist-type floor mat anchors? Also do the rear mats and cargo mat fit as nicely as the fronts? I'm in the market and really like these from your pictures.

You have a very nice looking Land Cruiser, by the way.

Haven't heard back from Manta sadly but for those who were after the Kaon antenna mount they're back in stock. Have ordered mine and from what I chatted to them they have about 100 or so ready to go. Of course now GME XRS370C's are out of stock at a few local places.. but all in due time.

Don't spose any of you know how long it takes Kaon to get their stuff back in stock? hanging out for that antenna mount so I can snag a XRS for my LX570.

*edit* Spoke with them, due to be back in stock on Tuesday incase anyone else chasing 1.
G'Day Guys!

So Sorry I havent logged into the forum fror a bit! Kaon were very good, came within a week and usually we have no issues shipping abroad!

Christ. Just when I couldn't be any happier with my 2021, I see what could have been with the diesel. So rad.
Yes, Loving the Diesel but you hear alot of horror stories, like injectors, sludge build up etc, my minds not as ease as if it was the bullet proof petrol!

Love the cruiser, but I'd love to see more pics of your buddies Jimny. I really wish that we could get these here in the states, such a capable and affordable little rig that would make for a great around town cruiser or for hard use out on the ranch.
It really is a little weapon, he has added crawler gears as stock was pretty crap, would stall trying to climb. Factory trac control works well! I got him some cool JDM wheels (Campeo Demundos) and a 2" lift. I've got some pics ill post of it when im home.

What the heck does the "idle up" button do?
Never used it, i think its for colder climates.
Likewise, trying to find an off the shelf exhaust for the 5.7 seems to be a bit of a mission.. even more so in Aus. :/
If you do find anything in Aus that they wont ship out, let me know. We ship out stuff internationally alot.

Thank you! Yep they attach like OEM, fit perfectly!

haha thanks for the replies!

I'm in West Aus hence was able to ring Kaon and follow up on stuff and I need to ring Manta and see what's up.. would be handy as their workshop is in Cunderdin which is on the way out to my father in laws (He's in Merredin).

Your build has been a good inspiration for me so far..

Since you seem to be on the pulse for all these bits, got exhaust recommendations for the 3UR-FE?

Getting the radio mounted by my local ORE end of April (They're booked out) and the lady thought it was amused that I actually take he LX offroad.

Currently in lockdown here in Sydney, havent really driven this at all. Done some small mods tho!
Installed some LED globes from Stedi here in Australia.
Original
LED-Globes-2.jpg

Couple of screws and the whole unit pops out to replace the two globes.

LED-Globes-6.jpg

Honestly, at night its probably a bit too bright lol
LED-Globes-8.jpg

Reverse lighst were also changed out, initially I just went the standard T10 LED, but realised after that there is a proper reverse light LED for that extra spark.

Remove the 3 10mm bolts

There is also one clip, I used a sand peg to wedge in between the boot and casing to op it out.

Here is a cool mod, that took literally 30 seconds to install. Redtek here in Australia make this module, that plugs into the ODB plug. It has a double adaptor if you have a scanguage etc.

Here is a quick Video of its party tricks:
Auto Closes Windows
Auto Opens Windows (Hit unlock on FOB 4 times)
Doors Auto Lock when Selecting Drive
Doors Auto Unlock when selecting Park
Mirrors auto Fold in when locking.

In the US you can set up these 3 things via Techstream, along with some other goodies like enabling/disabling DRLs and the seatbelt chime
  • Auto Opens Windows (Hit unlock on FOB 4 times) <- with techstream you just press unlock and hold the button for several seconds and they will open.
    • You can also enable/disable sunroof open along with the windows
  • Doors Auto Lock when Selecting Drive
  • Doors Auto Unlock when selecting Park

As I said before, if there is something you need here in Aus happy to help out :)

Yes, please! I'd love to get PZQ29-60600 sent over. I figure if it doesn't fit, I can get a fab guy to make it work.

I swapped emails with the Toyota dealer I bought my mat from over there. Toyota does not want us having those nice parts here in America. I want to hear a price to 30263 for that bumper. Thanks

Hey all, sorry forthe late update, but yes that Bumper is hard to get :(
Installeed the 5" Radius Fabrication Snorkel, makes some nice wooshy sounds now!
20210624-144424.jpg

It came with a template but thats it, no other instructions which I thought was poor.

Also, got a whole new Towing loom, as mine was hacked from t he previous owner, brake lights didnt work, right blinker turned on left etc, lucky my friends who work at toyota who does this for them as a living did it all for me, and at the same time installed the Tow Pro Elite.

So a few weeks back, took it to Downunder Diesel in Ben Bullen (Just past Lithgow) for a tune on the Engine and Box. Was sick of it hunting for gears on teh freeway, never sat in 6th, always dropped to 5th with any slight input of the throttle. So far, its returned an extra 2l/100 in economy and now the gearbox stays in 6th above 90
Factory it made 142wkw and 650nm or something, this is after

Towned a Mates Datsun to Cootamunda over the weekend (4 hour drive) and back. Man, towed so good. never went over 3k RPM. Three of us on board, AC pumping, and the dash indicated 16.7L/100 when I got there and on the way home showed 17.1L/100! Stocked with that. No dramas sitting on 110KM up the biggest inclines.

Long time no update for the 200. This is a copy n paste from another local forum so dont mind the dates etc:

So scored a set of Dobinson MRR remote Res lift kit for this for $250. Story is the guy had it on his car for about 3 years, but one started leaking to to the tyre rubbing the remote res oil line. I rang Dobinsons and its $135 to rebuild. The guy is in Port Macquarie and Dobinsons is out at Smearton Grange (20 mins from me and 4.5 hours from him lol). He couldnt afford to have his car off the road for the quoted 2 weeks so he went and bought a new kit.

Did a Road trip with the Famil to Noosa (QLD 13 hour drive), and picked them up on the way back. Im too use to car coilovers, i thought yeah no dramas with space, but the kit is massive lol, the kids had to have luggae ontop of them fr the 4 hour trip home lol
200 did well, 11.7/100km, 3/4 Tank to get to Brisbane.

Dropped the suspension to Dobinson today

I also Installed a Vline GROM and this has been a game changer for me. Keep in mind the 200 is the newest car I have ever owned, i have never used apple car play/android auto. As I do mainly big trips in this car (For family or work) its an excellent addition for maps/music. I have no pics of it insatlled but if anyone has any q let us know.

Other than just be an awesome road trip car, tow rig and daily (if im not driving the echo), I havent really done anything to this for a bit. On the daily im on the hunt for some cool JDM Wheels tho, and finally I found a set of TE37XT, that were wrapped in Michelin LTX All Terrain (Had no idea they even made these). The wheels are an inch wider and bigger than tha Methods (18 x 9.5 +0) but the tyre is a 285/60/18,so the fitment is very similar. although the tyre doesnt make it look as aggresive, I welcome the quietness of these! The Nittos were pretty good, but when I put these on I notice how much quieter the car is.
Oh...and the weight!! 40.2KG vs 29.5kg!!
