August Tellico trip

Well we have a wide range of dates to chose from:

the weekends of August the 6-7/ 13-14/ 20-21............

I personally vote for 13-14.

I see the general plan as going up early afternoon on a friday, so not to have to set-up camp at dark, and camping at the river crossing on trail 5. Maybe a night run friday and then wheel all day Sat. and head home sunday morning. The only one requirement for the trip and is that Marshall comes and he is incharge of the food(BBQ)..........

So let's get some input on this guys..........everbody is welcome and there are trails for stockers and for highly modified so everyone can join in.

yeah man me too............My old man even said he would come,never thought I would see him in an offroad vehicle(he is the luxury type)........ he is helping me do the body work right now on the 40, so I told him hecould be the first to put some scratches in the new shiny red paint..........

thats way too far in the future for me to think about....i don't even know what I am doing in the next 5 mins.....I start at BMW in august so I don't know if i will make it, we'll see...

I'm in! 12th sounds great too. I'd like to leave early Friday
and get setup before dark too. I may pull the trailer.
I'll have the hot water shower in Gundy so setup
near water would be sweet!
A convoy to and from would be nice.
Leave for home Sunday morning.

Great to have you in david.............. is that a community hot shower??? Back in january I was washing my head in the creek while the snow was falling around me........... it was like a brain freeze times ten.......... so hot water would be a blessing!!!!!!!!

As for leaving early I say the earlier the better, but I know it really depends on when everyone can get off, but I will be done with my summer job then, so I will be ready to go when ever.....

Id be up for it but not the weekend of the 13. I am going to take the GRE that tue or wed so I will be studying. Plus I'll be coming back for school the day after the GRE so I wouldnt want to drive all those miles in like 4 days. So my vote is the 21 weekend.

Virgo did I read that correctly shiny RED paint. What happened to blue to match the 62?

I was persuaded that "blue is not the only color out there" (5 of 7 cars I have owened were blue) the old man and Mary Ellyn both wanted red, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try something new..........

Hot water for all

The shower is neat. I also have a large (4x4x7) shower enclosure
which hangs from Gundy's roof rack. Very private.
I used to "line em up" for showers at GSMTR each evening and morning.
That is one reason I added a hand throttle. Poor old Gundy
didn't like idling for hours on end. 1100 r.p.m. and it'll do it all
day long with no fouled plugs and stuff.
Constant supply with no waiting for water to heat.
I'm game for ANY weekend in August.

Man david with your hot showers and and Marshalls cooking, there might not be much ruffing it going on, but I am okay with that...........I just want to have one fun weekend before school kicks back up
