I'm down for a meeting. Back in the day we had at least two a year there and a few in Henderson as well. Had our annual golf tournament up there.

This Friday a group of 4 of us are committed to meeting at Sierra Nevada about 2pm. By committed, I mean "all in" as @Trollhole is bringing up @jdayment 's 80 and swapping it out for his 80 and i am riding up with Marshall to pick up my new purchase, the Grey 62, and Josh will take the seller home as they both live in Black Mountain after we enjoy some food and drink! Come join us if you can and/or have nothing better to do!

We've got Biltmore passes, so it should be easy for me to con the family into coming over that way (luckily there is that secret tunnel that connects Elkhorn Village to Sierra Nevada). My work schedule just sucks until March or so since I am working every other weekend and I have 50% less opportunities.

There is an awesome El Salvadorian restaurant in Lenoir but other than that you are right no other reason I would really want to go there. LOL

I totally forgot he was out there I do need a new tie rod for the 80 so maybe we can make Lenoir happen.
Trying to make it up there tomorrow if a noob is welcome. Got the belts changed today after my idler pulley disaster and the windshield polyurethane is curing. Plan to take a scenic route off 26. Maybe Hwy 9 through Lake Lure.
