Are these used Super Swampers worth pursuing?

I've been eyeing this nice Japanese truck with Super Swampers lately: Akihito Chano (@chabohouse62v) • Instagram photos and videos

And these 285/75/16 tires popped up locally: 285/75/16 super swampers irok nd with rims and hub caps

Wheels are cheap Jegs Baja 8 steelies that should be 16x8 with a 4.25 BS. A set of them are only $260 new.

I'd have to run about a 1" spacer with those wheels, right? That would be ok with me to get a little closer with the outside-the-fender look I currently have w/ 33x12.5 BFGs. But I'd have to factor in another $100 for new spacers on top of the wheel/tire set.

Those irok swampers are wore out. I'd give him 100 Bucks for the 4. The tires in the link on that cruiser are the regular tsl super swampers. Looks like the 34x9.50x15. They suck on the street, but look really good and are great offroad. They are also very loud. When I was in high school I had them on the 60.

The whole idea of an awd/4x4 is not getting stuck and the tires must do it, never go to worn out second hand because that is a signal to get a smaller/cheaper car.
(11/32) inch = 8.73125 millimeters: not that bad I must say...

Those are at 50 percent wear new they have 21/32 tread depth The Irok is a pretty decent all around tire
But are loud and usually hard to balance
Not as loud as swampers or boggers
And not something you want to drive on all the time
They wear fairly quick

They might have 11/32" on them in some places, but they have substantial outer tread wear, like the tire wasn't riding flat. Definitely not worth $550.

Thanks for the feedback. I realized whatever they were running on needs an alignment, but wondered if they were even worth lowballing him on. I think I'll skip it.

I have to remember your part prices are so much lower than us in Canada I think those wheels cost us close to a 100 bucks apiece
And a 31x10.5-15 Iroc md is $265 plus tax a tire at 4wparts
