Gotta get out of the house tonight and wanna go wheeling.
Are any of these trails decent to go alone at night:
Chimney Rock
Chivo Falls
Rice Peak
Charouleau Gap
With Lockers 33's and 3in lift. Tomorrows my day off and can't do anything because of Doctor anal probing. :crybaby: Note: Never been to any of these before, but I have a Hi Lift which has never failed me before and some matches to keep me warm.

Charouleau gap is definitely out of the question for a first time run at night. Chivo is doable at night if you stick to the easiest lines and have alot of lighting. I haven't done chimney rock yet (except for the first 100 yards) but plan to soon (let me know if you want to go) Overall i would wait till you could go in the day and can decide for yourself about night runs. Just my two cents though. My schedule sucks till February but I still plan to wheel as much as possible these spur of the moment runs could work for me some times keep posting. P.s. if you get the chance to go to Chivo in the next few days the water should be running really well I was there just this tuesday and it was ragingover the falls.

Thanks for the info and I'll take it to heart. I'm going to go ahead and take off out near gunsight pass. Its not to bad of a drive as long as I'm back by morning before the wifey wakes. Man that is crazy that your schedule is so far booked out. Not sure what you do but I don't do weekends unless some one is going to pay big time. Think the last time I work a weekend was during the big W2K scare ehehe. I'm def a spur of the moment type unless I get stink eye on the way out the door. Have to hit that Chivo this weekend becuase they say its an awesome site when water is flowing. Only thing I'm worried about with my LC is not having sliders. I sure do hate messing up that portion of my rig since my last LC looked like it rode a horse. :bounce2:

Whenever I go out alone(which I do alot) I always tell my brother where I'm going and the lastest I would possibly be back. The emergency channel on a CB is also a good idea.

PM if you want my #. I'll hit some trails with ya. I wish I would have seen this post earlier.

FYI the guy in "the book" made a little typo. Chiva not Chivo.

Chiva is an easy trail IMO, but at night , if you haven't been there you could easily take a wrong turn. There are lots of side roads out there. Let me know if you are up for something on sunday. :bounce:

First advice I can give you is don't go anyplace with SHO NUFF!! Matt's a crazy bastard and wheels like he's got a lead foot and nothing to loose! But! If you do decide to go with him let me know and I'll get off my lazy ass and me and Josh will meet you... I gotta get the lift and new axels plus the locker under my 1965 though so you know, if you find yourself bored again:)

Here's a picture of Matt getting a little stupid and a few of us trying to keep his rig from looking any worse! Major props Matt!
