Aqua tailgate with Storage + spare tire carrier

I am finishing up my restoration project and am installing a Aqualu tailgate with my new Paki top. My questioons is how to modify the tire carrier to fit with the tailgate and still swing out? Does anybody have any pictures or help on this? I have a 1977.

I installed an alum aquala tailgate with storage and the original tire carrier with no problems. They both fit like the original. I will email you some pics. Hope this helps. Bill
