The monthly meeting for April will be held on 4-10-10 at Marshall's warehouse. We will have tools and hands available for your use. The plan is to offer eachother's help getting your trucks ready for GSMTR and other events/summer wheelin'.

Whether you need to install that new lift (Boot) or just do an oil change or tune up, stop by and we'll help eachother get it done. Please be sure to source all the parts you'll need ahead of time.

We (UC) will try to do something about food (lunch) but maybe be prepared to chip in a little for pizza or subs. Bring your own beverage and chair. If you bring tools, label them so they don't go home with someone else.

Marshall, I'll let you post the address, a time to get started and any other details I may have missed.

I could be there for this, My wife's gotta work so I may have a couple young ones in tow if thats ok, if its a problem I may be able to find care for them.

I'll definetly have to get the lift now :steer:

I may be able to come up for this one. I have a short list of things I need to get done.

1. replace a broken motor mount. (engine hoist and help needed) (Marshall, do you have any motor mounts laying in your pile of stuff?)
2. install new anti-inversion shackles in front
3. fix up my ebrake... have the rebuild kit
4. maybe install new seats if I can work out getting Jeremy's up to Gville by then
5. do the Marshall Carb upgrade
6. have a couple beers

Everything could change with the way my schedule has been lately, but right now I'm planning on it.

Did you decide what you wanted to get? I have a lot of experience with FJC lift installs. If I can make it, I'll bring the spring compressors. We won't need them if you go with SAW or ICON coilovers up front though.:D

Just out of curiousity isn't the meeting the 1st sat of the month?? It would be great if we can do this on the 3rd where as I am off that day and could get some minor details done on the 60.

The meeting is the first day of the month in every month that doesn't have Easter in it.

Yeah, probably goning to go with the Icons (No SAWs I dont like the red) in the front and OME mediums like was suggested. I'm in the process of working a deal with Toytech to see if I can get a discount on the package. Less you all know of a cheaper alternative.

Chuck you and I cannot wrench on that Sat. Josie's B-day party starts at lunch. I'm planning on seeing you and the family at the house that day. Should be getting an invite soon.

Ummm, have you seen my truck?:bounce2:

Yes I like the way your tuck looks, it goes well with the silver and you have multiple red parts, that go well together.

On mine it would be pretty much the only Red part (aside from tail lights) and I like the Black with the blue a little more. I gotta accessorize and red makes my butt look big.

I'm just pullin yer chain. Saw your parts list and fair warning, I've not done the UCA install before. I've done coilovers and rear setups only. Hope your kit comes with install instructions :D and I'll be happy to help.

I did em on my Taco, getting the old ball-joint out can be a pain if it is anything like the Tacoma, I'll be sure to dig up some instructions.

Can't make it afterall... family has decided that spring break is better spent on vacation than under a truck.

guess I will have to drink your share of the beer now too.....:grinpimp:

Same weekend as the Charlotte Auto Fair again. The Aunt Sue's mtg was the same date as the fall show. Ill be in Charlotte. Have fun and take lots of pictures.

Getting closer.

Starts at 10am. Would start sooner but I need time to get some stuff over there.

Goes till we get too tired do do anything else. Say 8-9pm.

I'll start cooking hot dogs around 5PM.
If you have something you want to bring or chip in please send me a pm or e-mail marshall@828rugs.com

I have these things here at the warehouse.

Small compressor. Need a bigger one if you have one to bring
Mig welder. Can weld just about anything.
Plasma Cutter. Can cut just about anything.
Various other tools I'll throw in to bring.
1 large cooler for my beer and yours if you want to take a chance on me stealing one.
1 large forklift.
Couple floor jacks.
Couple of jack stands.
Club Tubing bender. If you have some 2" or 1" tubing you want to get bent this is the time to come and let me or someone show you how.
Couple of portable air conditioners though the warehouse is currently 60 degrees.

I'll also have all my 40 parts out. I have thousands of parts so if you need something now is the time to come and look.

I also have a boatload some 1.75 sprinkler tubing that I consider scrap. But would make a nice bumper or sliders for someone willing to mess with it. It was used for our in rack sprinklers.

Kids are welcome I just don't want them running around unsupervised in the business end of my warehouse.

And if you need an excuse to get out of the house and the spouse won't let you bring her or him and they can look at all the rugs in our showroom. If you want anything I'll sell it to you for about half of what it would cost retail and I'll even load it in your cruiser.

I can probably be there around 10-11sih. I'll have 3 kiddies 10, 11, 4. They are well behaved and I will keep an eye on them and bring stuff to keep them busy. The :princess: will be joining me around 5-ish to hang out then cart the kids off if they're ready to head home.

I can bring my compressor for added air its a 30 Gal 150psi max. I' plan on grabbing other random tools I see that may be needed, probably at the least a floor jack and some stands. I load it in a trailer.

I'll also grab some chips and drinks and other random snacks I happen to see passing by at the grocery store (requests welcome)!

Are the directions going to be posted or pm'd?
