well, I just got notified that I am forced in for OT tomorrow. I would just have Daisy run the meeting, but it is at my house.
can we push it back 1 day? same time for Sunday? I know we talked about doing a shakedown run that day, but I am in quite a pinch on this one.
I only have a force hire like every 2 years. of course, it only ever happens on the worst days possible.

a third option was just brought to my attention by my wonderful wife. I will be working at Fire station 1 on 2nd st just north of Alameda.
we can have the meeting there. we have a brand spanking new ladder truck at that station that would be fun for the kids of all ages. It will be in service and I could get called out, but that should be no problem for everyone to hang out at the station while I run a call. in that district, most calls are fairly short in duration.
Is this acceptable for everyone? I will call Pappy and have him change the info. I can still make burgers and dogs on the bbq grill there.

I am doubtful for Saturday or Sunday, so I will let the rest of you decide.

from Alameda and 2nd st, go north on 2nd. station is about 1/4 mile up on the left (west side of road). it is pretty obvious, set back off the road a little with 4 big bay/garage doors.
for a taste of what is in store- this is the truck you will see, pic was taken just before it was shipped from the Pierce Manufaturing Plant in Wisconsin.

No problem with location change, but is it certain to be Sat? My visitation schedule will not allow a Sunday meeting for me, at least with the kids.
