I think we need to recreate this photo!! Except for Brian that is all that is coming anyway right?

Ohh and Joe is the only member to make it every single year. I think that means he gets to head it up next year :)

Somebody double (Hen)dog dare me to come!!!! We'll make it a Ga event. We would most likely pull in Thursday night leave Sunday PM or monday AM. We are pretty Broke like everyone else but we need a break, we just put our 13 year old Bulldog down:crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

Sorry to hear about your Bulldog. I agree you need a vacation. Maybe we could convince you to get a chihuahua :) hell you can take ours with you :hhmm:

I agree I think we might make the Savannah GA club a joint event with ONSC next year.

Ohh and I double hendog dare you.

Awesome. I'm so glad it's going to be a great week for you guys. I really hate that it didn't work out for us. We are about to start a full blown kitchen remodel so it was probably best that we passed but we will surely miss being there with everyone.
 
We may be staying in one of the houses north of the blacktop , next to the last street before the Gate @ the State Line!!! My Nephew in Pennsylvania has a best friend that just bought this house and is planning to move there permenently within the next two years. We'll know for sure tommorow if we can stay there.​
 
Soooooooo. Ummmmmmmm. I have no tow vehicle...imagine that they are still not done withmy Touareg. Say it might be done Tuesday...well they said that it would be done Wednesday last Friday and ever Friday before that since early March.

I need options folks. To put it bluntly we are kinda EDIT....making lemonade right now :).

Already called all of the rental agencies. They don't allow towing and thus don't even have the hitches on their cars.

Cruiser still isn't registered as the PO still hasn't sent me the title (even the lost title that usually only takes less than a month to get from the DMV) and that was 2 months ago. Plus the oil pan leaks so bad from the rust (I pressure washed it) that it is damn near empty in my driveway. Add to that front brakes that are frozen and it just isn't going to happen.

Thought of a million different ways but Deirdre does not do tent camping any more with the baby and there is no getting around that. And I wouldn't want to either...this kid is going thru some teething right now and it is unreal. Thought about renting a Class C but it is expensive and we have to drive to Atlanta then back and when we got to the OBX we would never be able to drive around anywhere. Still working on it but not looking good. Almost even thoguht of buying a whole new car completely and just selling it when we got back I'm so desperate to actually go on Vacation. I was going to order a trailer hitch for Deeds car but never did adn now it would be Tuesday to Wednesday at the earliest by the time it got here.
 
Best IDEA YET!! My wife was just looking at rental homes there and while I'm all about camping and the atmosphere is actually better and more my style at the campground we found a few homes in Frisco that were under 1K and they allow pets. With the camper rental, extra fuel, and rental at Frisco we were at around 800. And some of the places have kayaks, hot tubs, huge decks with hammocks, or game rooms. 4 bedrooms an 4 baths. Sweet ass deck and right on the beach. Works out perfect as there is only 4 of us coming anyway this year.

So I know it is late and would be a few cancellations (I know Joe wouldn't mind as he doesn't really like Frisco anyway) we could all stay in one house. Don't even need to split it equally as we will probably be there the longest and probably will get a place either way...but we might spend a bit more to get a place others would want to hang out and sleep at as well.. We would lose our deposits (at least we would as we are to close to the date) but I think it was only like 50 bucks for ours. Would be sweet to have everyone in one place. Make packing a lot easier as well and if we were on the beach wouldn't' have to buy that permit.

Anybody? We will be securing a place tomorrow afternoon.

I texted Joe and he is in. Just waiting to hear from Allen and I sent him a message on Facebook.

Us Traylor's are screwed and don't have a lot of other options but Frisco is a pretty bad ass place and you have a pretty good spot if I remember right Brian. It would be the best of both worlds but then again it is pretty awesome to have everyone at one spot and we can always drive to the beach we get a place on the lagoon side or visa versa. Sorry for throwing a wrench into plans last minute but it sounded like a good plan. Really we have it narrowed down to two houses now but Deeds is looking for more. The whole pet thing limits us as we have to bring our dogs and I don't know if Joe and Allen are bringing their dogs.

Sweet, I think it will be a lot cheaper for everyone as well which means MORE BEER MONEY :cheers:.

Deirdre will call the rental agencies tomorrow and try to work out the details. We will post up a couple of the options then and all try to get together and chat about it online or by phone at once if that is possible (I'm technology stupid).

I'm guessing Allen would be in as it sure beats those one room cabins in that circle and this is cheaper as well.
