Anyone tried Xenopro LED headlights?

Has anyone tried Xenonpro LEDs on their 200 series? I chatted with their customer support (on a Sat!) and tech said he recommends the 45W LEDs over the HIDs in terms of visibility and distance. He claims they are better than other LEDs on the market due to it being "made in Germany, higher quality, and has a lifetime warranty." Come out to $165 for 45Ws w/canceller and anti-flicker.

I've looked at some aftermarket HID setups, and most of them seem to require drilling a hole, which I'm hesitant to do. Any takers?

Don't know anything about those but I do know the cheap-o amazon LED's I put on my LX did not need any cancellers or anti-flicker devices so I doubt they are correct on needing that for theirs. They just want you to spring for it for your premium marquee. Kinda makes me question everything else after that. They seem to be really hyping "German" this and "Made in Germany" that and while the Germans are perfectly capable of making some of the finest things in the world they too can churn out garbage with the best of them LOL. Why not list the specs on the emitter for starters? Is there a brand to these or are these a house brand? Maybe it's just the way their webpage reads to me but it kinda wreaks of mega-gajillion watts and lumens you know?

If I was going to spend big $ on LED's I'd buy the Morimoto 2-strokes personally. They've been in the aftermarket high output game a long time and The Retrofit Source stands behind their stuff really well. I don't think anyone has the quality of fans that the Morimoto unit has and it seems like a very well thought out product about the same $ range as what you are looking at. It has 2 Cree XHP50 emitters per bulb which are quality units.

So far my $40 LED's from Aamazon are doing a great job but we'll see about the lifespan as others have mentioned that is really what separates the men from the boys with LED's. If these crap out in a year then I'll spring for the Morimotos myself but being able to do high and low beams for $80 so far has not been something I regret.

Can you post a link for the item, I'd like to order as well?

I found these on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Headlight-Co...=1503161383&sr=8-2&keywords=low+beams+led+h11

I have but on a different car. They are okay, not a great cut of line, kinda junky build quality.

My absolute favorite LED bulb is the IPF LEDs you can get through ARB. I have the low beams in now, and will be getting the high beams soon.

Absolutely the best LED bulb I have tried. Incredibly bright with serious down range power, I have no desire to buy aftermarket auxiliary lighting with these bulbs. Plus with IPF build quality and buying direct from ARB, you know you'll get the real deal unlike Chinese junk off amazon.

Where did you order them and which model?

+1 for the IPF's. I have IPF 351HLB HB3/HB4 in my 200 high beams and also in the fogs of my E46 and they are awesome.

Also have Philips H4 LEDs on my 80 and they are great as well. They are a fan-less design and I've had them for more than a year with no issues.

I doubt those XenonPro bulbs are made in Germany. Heck, the IPF and Philips LEDs that I have are made in China.

I ordered them from Morris 4x4 Center, but they drop shipped them different from ARB distribution in Jacksonville to my house with ARB labels all over them. Mine say Japan Proud, made in Japan on the Box. So I'm not sure how different they are from HRTROB's saying his are made in China. That's the problem I see with buying things like this, very easy to counterfeit.

Did these require any additional wiring or kits in order to fit?

Can you share link?

Morris 4x4 site did not have a "regular" Landcruise or LX as vehicles to choose from.

Somebody start an ARB group buy already! If its Taco approved.

And there is no special wiring, not even a ballast to mount! Something i enjoyed very much, simply plug in the wire to the stock wiring, done. And as a fun side affect, when you kick on your high beams, your low beams stay on. I would going to modify the wiring to do that anyway, but there must be a voltage regulator that tells the low beam to turn off instead of a hard one/off switch. So with less wattage needed to power the LED bulb, you get double the light and a massive top to bottom spread.

Here you can see the bulb, the wire that comes off the bulb, and the wire that plugs into the stock harness. That's it. The most you need to do is zip tie the harness down as its no longer on the back of the bulb.

Can you take a photo of the box where it says "Made in Japan"? Should be on the lower right in the back.

No sorry, box is long gone. I installed them at BudBuilt and didn't want to haul a box to around on a trip.

Do the fog lights stay on as well?

Getting real tempted here...

In your opinion, how do the IPF LEDs compare against the aftermarket Xenon depot HIDs in regards to brightness and range?

Had to go out a test that as I didn't know. No the fog light will still turn off when you kick the brights on. Only the low beams stay on. But I have a LED fog lamp from Stedi that fits ARB Bumpers. It runs through all the same factory wiring, so I doubt its different , but something to think about.

Oh, not even a comparison. These IPFs are much more whiter and insanly intense. Like I have to seriously look away and squint from highway signs as the amount of light that can be projected can through a good amount back at you. Don't get me wrong, the Xenon depot HIDs are good, but HIDs are on their way out for a reason. With real manufactures putting a lot of money into LEDs, it was only a matter of time before LEDs surpassed HIDs. One of the seven reason why I bought a 2008-2011 over a 2013-2015, I knew that I wanted LEDs and that it would happen one day.

They make a perfect cut off line and I have mine set to exactly where they need to for a factory and legal setup. So I know I'm not aiming at oncoming drivers, but I still get flashed all the time just because of who bright and clear they are.

I can't wait for the high beams. Then when I get flashed, it will be big, NO little oncoming driver.... THESE are my high beams! Muhahaha.

Pretty sure they're all made in China. You probably just missed it. Says Engineered by IPF Japan Made in China". We'll know once the others get theirs in. I grabbed the photo below from the net.

I just ordered the 341HLB H4 for my 80 so I can go quad H4, I'll try to compare them with the Philips Ultinon H4 LEDs I currently have
