Anyone tried Xenopro LED headlights?

The IFP LED seem to be exactly what I am looking for - I sure could use the additional lights over the stock low beams.

@Taco2Cruiser - do you know if dust caps fit with these bulbs in place?
Dust caps? I'm sorry, I don't remember any dust caps and I checked the parts list and didn't see anything either. An H11 has a turn and lock design with an integrated o-ring on the bulb itself instead of a H4 clip style that usually has a dust cap.

I did buy my 200 second hand so maybe I never had them?

I messed with my standard type bulbs just a few weeks ago, and basically it was a funky-shaped gasket (matching the funky shape of light bulb housings) that sits in front of the part you twist to lock. They tend to fall off if you aren't paying attention...but other than that, I wouldn't expect a plug. As long as it twists in to lock like normal bulb replacements, I assume the gasket would do the trick here too... Does that sound right?

Did anyone on here try the 2017 BeamTechs (also sold as auxbeam)? If so, did you like them?
The price at $39 for me was too good not to try. I installed them- and to me I think they look good. Way better distance than the halogens. But I'm not sure how to judge quality and what to look for in terms of hotspots or cut off. When I research cut off I only read about low beams. Btw I only replaced the high beams.

I did some rudimentary testing- the light pattern looks the same on the wall between the halogen and the led high beam. The led was just brighter and had a longer throw when on the open road. I was also concerned about them being too bright. I did a test with a friend where we drove past each other on an empty road. He said they were bright but not too bright- not any more offensive than anyone else with HIDs.

I do think the IPFs are better quality - but if the cheaper ones are close or good enough... maybe I can get away with spending a little less... for once. (ha ha)

For those that bought the IPFs - how loud is the fan? Can it be heard with the engine off from outside the car?
I can hear the fans hum on the BeamTechs if the engine is off and I walk around the front.

I just received my IPFs, and can confirm that they do have a seal that works similarly to the seal on standard bulbs. -Right behind the three-prong rotation/securing point, there is a red ring seal. Haven't installed them yet, as I have to remove batteries to get my big hands in there... Hopefully soon.

That red seal is for the H11 version. The 351HLB HB3/HB4 comes with a red o-ring installed, plus an extra o-ring that you can use if the bulb doesn't fit right. I had to swap o-rings when I tried to fit them to an HB4 housing. I believe they come with the HB3 o-rings installed. So those getting the 351HLB, don't throw away those extra o-rings :)

Yes you can hear them quite clearly with the motor off. I actually didn't know they were that loud until I check to see if the fog light stays on when the high beam kicks on for someone on this tread. That's when I was like, "umm.. what's that sounds", the realized it was the light fans.

I'm not going to lie though... I kinda like it. I could image someone asking what the sound was and me being like, "don't worry about it, land cruiser magic."

Looking forward to the install... hope you can get the bulbs in there without removing the batteries. Take pics if you can.

Btw, does the packaging say made in Japan or China?

I'll check when home again...

I just got home and installed the left side low beam. It doesn't look like the dust cap as someone referred to, will fit with it installed. It's getting dark so I'm. It going to mess with it to much longer. I do have an LX 570 though.

I've been rocking the IPF set for a few weeks, love em! I've got some before, during and after light spread pics and detailed product shots I've been meaning to get posted. We've sold a handful with zero complain thus far :D

I'll have a more detailed write up in my build thread but here are before & after. The camera doesn't do it justice as I'm thinking it was adjusting the shutter speed to get the shot. It's quite different and much improved with the IPF led's

Before, high beams

Kurt do you have these in stock?

I'm sorry I didn't get my low beams from you Kurt. But I'll definetly be getting my high beams from you!

Sweet, we would love to help!

Kurt-
Do you carry the new IPF LED H10 fog light...

Sorry, that isn't one they have introduced to the US market just yet.
