Installed my Slee sliders. When ordering I figured why not get the puddle lights too. Sounds like Slee taps them into sill plate lights. I'd love to make a harness that just plugs into the sill plate light plug rather than tap into the wiring. Anyone done this and have a parts list?

I'd love to have them come on with the sill plate lights but also have them switched separately on my Switchpro, not sure how to wire it that way. Would love to not have to splice into factory wiring.

I cut off the stock connector and used a standard Delphi weatherpack waterproof coupler on both ends. I lefty enough pigtail on the stock connector to reuse it if needed. The Slee lights are awesome, a bit darker with the ACH covers on of course.

SLEE installed the light package when they installed their sliders on my HE last year. Bright with an excellent light spread.

Looks really good @7000ft do they only come on when you door is opened? Or do they come on as you approach and unlock the doors with the fob?

I installed my sliders and bought the lights to go with them but have yet to wire them up. I really don’t want to cut or splice the factory harness but might just have to do what @Bunga suggested. I’m sure Slee must be doing the same.

The puddle lights do not turn on when you unlock the car with the FOB.
They only come on when you open either the front unlocked driver or passenger doors. Opening the rear doors first do not activate the puddle lights

I've only owned 1 non- toyota truck and it was a ford Raptor I sold when I bought the 200. I kinda liked how the puddle lights came on when you approached the truck and unlocked the doors. I was hoping to sthe the lights up the same on the cruiser. Maybe tapping into the dome light is the way to go:

Definitely tie into the done lights. It's crazy this didn't come stock on the 200. My LX470 has the under step light feature, not sure why it never made it to the flagship of Toyota

I like the approach light feature but I also want an OJ setting where I can approach and enter the truck with no lights at all. Then I can retrieve a higher caliber - higher capacity firearm than the one I'm carrying to deal with the threat in question.

Just run it to a 3-way switch; On-Off-Auto

The LX570 retained that feature. It's just the LC that doesn't have it.
