Anyone know the differences between the 2017 vs. 2018 model?

I started talking myself into purchasing a 2016+ 200-series. After looking at a few used '16 and '17 models, then driving the '18, I've noticed only 2 differences: the keyfob is updated and the power tailgate.

Does anyone know of any other differences?

I think the rear video screens are optional in 2018.

The rear screens did become an option in 2018 so they dropped the MSRP a bit. Other than that I got my '18 un July and love driving it everyday

I have a '16 and cant for the life of me figure out what this switch does.
It disables the side curtain air bag. Very useful when “wheeling” - prevents inadvertent deployment on the air bag due to excessive body lean/roll.
I believe the tipping point for the bag deployment, when active, is 20deg of body lean/list (?)

It shuts off the Roll-sensing Curtain Airbags. Those airbags will go off if you roll the truck. But they might also go off while off-roaring without rolling the truck. So Toyota gave us a way to turn them off.

From pg 50 in your owners manual:

Deactivating the curtain shield airbags in a vehicle rollover

ON/OFF (hold for a few seconds)
The “RSCA OFF” indicator turns on (only when the engine switch is in IGNITION ON mode.)
The roll sensing function for the curtain shield airbags and seat belt pretensioners will turn back on automatically each time the engine switch is turned to IGNITION ON mode.

■ This switch only should be used In a situation where the inflation is not desired (such as during extreme off road driving).
■ Operating conditions when the “RSCA OFF” indicator is on
●The curtain shield airbags and seat belt pretensioners will not activate in a
vehicle rollover.
●The curtain shield airbags will activate in a severe side impact.
●The seat belt pretensioners will activate in a severe frontal collision.

WARNING
■ For normal driving
Make sure the “RSCA OFF” indicator is not turned on. If it is left on, the cur- tain shield airbag will not activate in the event of an accident, which may result in death or serious injury.

I have an '18 and I don't see the switch. Do we know if there's a way to turn off the RSCA without the switch? I don't need it deploying during some gnarly trails. Thanks!

Wasn't the radiator changed/updated in mid 2018 as well as the KDSS valves switch?

Seems like I read somewhere else that it wasn’t as much Toyota’s decision as regulators telling them they had to get rid of the feature for safety. Which suggests there won’t be a simple way.

I hope I’m wrong on that though.

Rad was late 2018 build date, and I wouldn’t consider the KDSS bolt change an advantage, based on what taco2cruiser has been reporting.

Here's a post with a list of several changes between 2017 and 2018, but like @bloc said, it's not clear if the updated KDSS bolts are an improvement or not:
