Anyone have Reep Mats in their vehicle?

New to the forum and a new owner of a 2004 LX 470 with tan interior. Just ordered some floor mats from Reepmats.com They didn't have my vehicle listed but did have a 2004 LC listed. I ended up ordering those, then contacted them and had them add the LX 470 to the list. I guess I'll have the first set of LX 470 mats which I ordered in black. I like the idea of these mats and just came across them watching Scotty Kilmer on YouTube. I wanted mats that don't show dirt, look nice and can be used year round. I'll post a pick once I get them but they have a 3 week backlog so it may be a while.

Interested to hear your feedback! Need some mats for my 06 lx.

Reep ?? Dafuq?? Just get you some WeatherTech's.

I think WeatherTechs are boring, flat, and show dirt. These have some cushion, hide the dirt, and I think will look nicer.

Interested in these. Please post some pics once you get them.
I agree on Weather Tech. Front ones in our 4Runner are ok, don’t cleanup like the should IMHO. The second row has curled on all the edges and looks crappy. I don’t feel like the are worth the price.

X2 weathertech is so over rated, they always look dirty in my trucks. I just keep buying the OEM mats but if I had an alternative I would go that route.

Never heard of them but I like what the site shows. If I hadn't spent weeks looking for what I ended up buying, I'd look into these as well.

These may be the best thing to come from the Scotty Kilmer channel :giggle:

I think my stiletto's might get caught in that nest of plastic yarn-

There's really not too many real world pictures of these out there. I'd really like to get a better idea of how they look. I think the concept is spot on, though.

I had some Sanuk slip-on flip flops that were made from that material. They were comfortable on my feet. The owner of Sanuk said he got the inspiration from a taxi floor in Thailand. He was barefoot when he took a ride in the taxi, and liked how the floor felt on his feet. So, he made some sandals out of it.

Got an e-mail from Reep mats today and unfortunately they are closing shop. My order was cancelled and money was refunded. What a bummer. I haven't seen any others that I like. I don't want weathertech style, I wanted something that wouldn't show dirt, was dark colored (black), doesn't look totally flat and had some cushion. Any suggestions?

IMO, you can probably buy that same material and just cut some of your own. If you're really particular, you can attach a solid layer for the backing like they did.

Since you're looking for suggestions, I recommend the ones I found. Made by a company called Star Diamond. I paid $180 (ish?) for 3 rows (not the cargo mat, just the feet section for the 3rd row). Very, very heavy rubber. Thick, too. Not like a thin material as my Weathertech cargo liner. The box will be heavy when they arrive. I got mine from Amazon or eBay but here's the first link that popped up: Click

I just pressure wash them when they need it. If I'm feeling frisky, I'll hit 'em with some degreaser and a stiff brush. No color fading as of yet. I've been very pleased with them.
