Anyone got a tape measure & a FJ40 close? (1 Viewer)

If you got a tape measure and a FJ40. Please measure the distance across the headlights (outside drivers side to outside passenger side) and the vertical distance from the top of the headlights to the frame.

I forgot to do this yesterday, and I'm hunting a piece of expanded metal.

Thanks a bunch. I had to remove my grill to install a pusher fan. So I'm having to put some expanded metal across my stinger to protect the fan/radiator.

i'm going to do the samething soon if i know what your talking about, what kind of metal are your going to use ? i'm not sure what expanded metal is, i was doing mine more for aesthetics (sp?) and protection as well...

expanded metal

Expanded metal is like grating. They take a sheet of metal and make slits in it and draw it apart. There are many different kinds, I just have to find some today. I hope to be working on it this afternoon. Check my thread in my signature for more details.
