Not sure, I had a 62' but it is gone, seats were different than say a 69 for sure. You might try the FJ25 owners group, I see some early FJ40 conversations on there. I still have a 1963' FJ45 SWB but I did not get seats with it, I put in a later set (bench and driver) from 67 or 69' back in the 80's. Good luck, it would be interesting to see what you come up with.

A good way to start basic research is using an online catalog such as $or.com Pic's and part numbers for free. I save all my old print catalog (CD's too) from places like Man-a-fre, $or, JC Whitney, LMC just for that purpose.

I agree good luck. I'll but they are gold plated unobtanium by now.

The driver's seat on a 61 requires loosening four bolt to adjust. The tool box it seats on is narrower in the front than the back. It angles in along the transmission tunnel. Believe this change happened during 1963. The passenger seat changed at the same time but the change did not effect the mounting. The driver's FJ25 was the same. Passenger left front leg and one just behind in the middle were longer on the FJ25.
