I was wondering if anyone is running 305s on their 80 instead of 285 bfg ATs. I saw on the website that they're the same height just wider. I like wider... I know they'll be heavier and have an E rating. Any thoughts or pics?

yeah. i'm running some. here you go. i like the way the 305's fill out the wheel well especially with flares. without, like on mine, they stick out just a touch. ;)

Ive run both and they really are the same thing....only talking about a 1inch width difference, same diameter.

I have BFG MT 305's on my '96. I prefer Goodyear MTR's as they wear better IMHO. However, my '96 had the BFG's MT's on it when I bought it & I will let them wear down before I by new tires. They are louder than my Goodyears and are horrible in water, ice & snow.

The BFG AT is a great tire though. I had them on my Toyo P/U years ago (31x10.50's)

Okay so performance wise I can't tle a frickin difference. BUT the 305's do look better...cons: hard to find spares unless buying new.
