From what I understand he knows some people in Toyota, so a 3ur may not be out of the question. But a 3ur is a huge motor for only being 5.7 liters. I honestly don't think I'd want one in my cruiser even if I had the money/knowledge to put one in.he wouldn’t share his paint code......so I’m guessing he won’t be sharing wiring.
had Icon used 1uz-2uz-3ur......then maybe it would be a bit more interesting vehicle enough to warrant the pricetag and Toyota moniker.
Kyle ... what engine, tranny setup you going with ?

Have you seen lelandEOD's thread:
This is what self-hatred looks like.
He has put together a pretty impressive harness and might be a good resource?
Good luck!
Steve,
I'm going with LM7/4L65E combo. Getting the engine from Bd Turnkey with a plug in play stand alone harness for the engine and trans. Trying to figure out how to lay out the rest of the wiring for the vehicle since I will have to do that all up custom.

Hello,
I remember reading somewhere that Icons have only one ECU for the engine. The rest of the electrical systems is kept simple and reliable.
However, since each Icon is a custom made vehicle, it is possible that different users ask for different electrical/electronic accessories and/or setup.
I am making an educated guess of sorts here. One engine control computer, another one for either emissions or A/C and a simple main harness, modular, intended to either stay simple or power a number of devices.
It is likely that the harness details are deemed as proprietary by Icon, and therefore not available to the public.

When I first read the initial post I was going to reply that any ICON owner was on his yacht in the Galapagos Islands and wouldn't be able to reply. I just can't warm up to ICON's. They take a vintage vehicle and ruin it. But that is just my opinion of course. Part of the pleasure driving a vintage vehicle is all the rattles and the cold wind blowing through the leaky seal around the windshield frame. Knowing you're driving something that you built and/or maintain with your own hands. I am just not in the same tax bracket as an ICON owner. And if I was I doubt I would purchase an ICON. I'd want to keep it vintage.
