Looking to orders some random parts (horn pin and horn contact ring) for my 60.

Was wondering if there are any Mud friendly dealerships to order parts from around the Charlotte area? I'd like to avoid the shipping charges and huge markups.

Thanks

Scott Clark Toyota on Independence in Matthews has a list of paid ONSC members and gives us a 25% discount on most items (one of the benefits of membership!). Most items that are still available can be here in 2 days. Can take a few longer for others. That seems to be the maximum discount from the various OEM dealers. If you're not an ONSC member you're gonna have to go to Beno or CDan for a similar discount.

You should also post in our classified section - never know who might have a parts truck in the area.

Thanks John! Just trying to avoid $15 shipping/ stocking fees on little parts that likely cost about that much. Gotta get my 60 ready for inspection... Again...

When I was searching for a spare wheel for my FJ40 I priced all the local dealerships and Toyota of North Charlotte was the cheapest...and that included the ONSC discount at Scott Clark.:meh:

Ya. I know. Maybe it was just a fluke on just one particular part but SC also required me to pay in advance before they would order for me. They wouldn't take a card over the phone so that meant two trips across town. Toyota of North Charlotte did right by me. No hassles. They ordered the part on my good word and price was better. I hope I'm not throwing anybody under the bus but.........

Since the parts is small and light, I'm likely going to go the Beno route.

Beno has the Pin in stock. Unfortunately the contact ring is hard to come buy and not sold individually. So I'll swap out for a new pin first and try to salvage my ring for now and see what happens. Then ill hit the classifieds if needed.

Thank you for the recommendations!
